Hello, thanks for reading this. Scientists are making progress concerning a method which with patients could grow new, natural teeth using stem cells. Here's a link:

I understand this is scientific manipulation of the body, but I'd like to know what you people think about growing new teeth by "will", so to speak, simply by controlling your mind so your body should understand and accept that new generation teeth are needed. I accept if you'll consider this utter nonsense, but heck, maybe some of you heard of had experiences like this. Hm? Hm?

I don't think you can just "will" yourself new teeth. you have a limited number, and only stem cell manipulation (as far as I know) could produce new ones.

No. There is no doubt that a person’s mental state can influence physiology. But these effects fall well short of being able to influence stem cell function by will alone.

Our bodies already perform a whole host of regenerative functions. Skin, bone, blood, muscle... And none of that involves the brain. It seems plausible enough that we'll eventually be able to grow teeth from stem cells, but it will be a long time before it is done with mental control.
