View Full Version : "They" will destroy Mel Gibson
They are going after Mel Gibson, poor guy was just drunk nothing more.
http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Movies/08/01/gibson.dui/index.html
They are canceling his shows and now possibly jail him soon for making so called anti israel comments. I heard people usually speak truth when they are drunk........ truth came out finally, but now it is possible that the strong Hollywood israeli lobby might kill him or make up some ploy and trap him or bankcrupt him some how... sad to see all this. This anti israel thing is getting out of hands..... they can bash any other race in the world but when it comes to them.... it is punishable by death? thats insane.
George Wildman 08-01-06, 10:59 PM its been all over the news for days, what an actor, evereone has believed him
now that is holywood acting!
mountainhare 08-01-06, 11:24 PM OMFG, HOW DAREZ MELLY DISHH OUT ANTI-SEMITE INZULTZZ TO AN INDIVIDUEL IN PRIVVATE!!!
Hmph, perhaps the people bitching about this should take a look at this forum. The 'defamation' here would make their skin crawl.

Of course they will destroy Mel Gibson the Jewish community have it in for Mel Gibson since he did the Passion of Christ movie where he refused to take out the offending phrase , where the Jews condemn Christ and reply to Pontius Pilate " Let his blood be upon our heads , and our childrens " . This statement is the start of the blood libel against Jews and shows the Jews as Christ Killers , but importantly shows it was the Jews themselves which started it . This was the only excuse the Anti-Christian Jewish community needs to pay him back . You only had to follow the controversy before the release of the movie to see the thraets against him from the Jewish community , it was taken out of the sub titles but the phrase was still in the Aramaic . The Jewish community has never forgiven him for that , simple spite nothing more .
I read a Jewish paper today and a local community paper. Both had apposing views regarding the war in lebanon but neither mentioned Mel Gibson. I liked his movie. It didn't leave me with any particular anger towards Jews.
I thought the reaction that I have seen in the media is overblown. If nothing else, they have given me reason to ask why so many people hold Jews responsible for so many ills. Does anyone have an answer to offer? Should we venture their?

Mel didn't write that, it's in the bible. Why blame him? I was impressed with the movie and didn't find it "anti-semetic". After all, Jesus was also a Jew!
As far as Jews being out to get Gibson, did they hyponotize him to make him say the idiotic things he did? I really like a lot of his movies, and was disappointed to hear those comments. Still, his apology seemed heartfelt.
redarmy11 08-02-06, 02:01 AM It was at least 5 years ago, probably more, when I first heard the rumour that Mel Gibson is an ultra-right-wing anti-semite. I've disliked him ever since. Now, he's got drunk, shown his true colours and is getting his comeuppance. Tough shit.
spacemansteve 08-02-06, 03:33 AM I think its a knee jerk reaction when it comes to hollywood stars... People are aloud to have their own personal views, This forum is full of Anti-Semetic, Anti-Muslim, anti everything. We are all guilty of it in one way or the other, but we have our opinions and thats what makes us human.
I don't see why Hollywood stars should be subject to a larger amount of criticism than John Smith down the street, despite the fact that they are in the spotlight
redarmy11 08-02-06, 03:40 AM Try walking down the street shouting racist comments through a megaphone and you'll be subject to the same kind of scrutiny that Hollywood stars are and suffer the same consequences.
If they haven't got the brains to realise that their words carry more weight than ordinary people... tough shit.
spacemansteve 08-02-06, 03:44 AM redarmy11:
This is true. Unfortunately that is the way things are these days, but the question is why should they be subject to that sort of spotlight. Walt Disney was apparently a Nazi but most people don't care, JFK was a donut and people loved him for it. I feel sorry for him somewhat. Although i don't condone what he says, i feel sorry it has turned out like that. I enjoyed the movie Braveheart :p

I totally agree.
Face it, there's always people that others don't get along with. So in Mel's case it's Jews, big deal. All the people up in arms over that probably hate Arabs too. Hypocrits.
Mel Gibson is just getting all the attention to make Israel look like victims as they usually always try and do. Nobody would care otherwise if this war wasn't going on and they didn't need to earn more PR points. They always fall back on playing the victim.
- N
redarmy11 08-02-06, 03:55 AM They should be subject to that sort of spotlight because of the potential power that their words carry, especially with their fans - bearing in mind that anyone who identifies themselves as a 'fan' (rather than a mere admirer) of any Hollywood celebrity is either young or virtually brain-dead. My megaphone analogy holds - tell your friends how much you hate jews and there won't be any comebacks. Announce it to the world, eg through a megaphone, or by accusing a police officer of being one when you're mega-famous and should know better, and you're in trouble.
redarmy11 08-02-06, 03:58 AM Mel Gibson is just getting all the attention to make Israel look like victims as they usually always try and do.
Rubbish. It's got nothing to do with Israel, that's ridiculously conspiratorial. Mel Gibson is a long-term anti-semite who got drunk and spouted his big mouth off to the wrong people. Tough shit!
spacemansteve 08-02-06, 04:02 AM redarmy11: I don't believe their personal lives should be subject to the microscope. People complain about the PATRIOT laws in the US, but at the same time these stars of Hollywood face a similar tirade with the paparazzi and other organisations. They don't have much of a personal life. It just seems a bit hypocritical thats all. To complain about the government taking away freedoms of US citizens, when the public/media take away freedoms from stars.
I'll also note (although i don't think it is a justification), he was drunk at the time. Now majority of us here can say we've been drunk at one stage in our lives and have done/said some stupid things. I shudder everytime i remember... But i think it is a bit unfair to judge him when he's lost alot of control over his body/mind
mountainhare 08-02-06, 04:04 AM Damn morons these days. Say something which could be construed as slightly anti-semitic, and everyone acts as though enough Holocaust is lurking around the corner.
The only person Gibby should be apologizing to is the individual he insulted. He shouldn't have to apologize to the public for a private conversation. If his apology was accepted by the police officer, then that's it to the matter. Why rave and bitch about? Lebanese civilians are getting butchered, and we're focusing on a drunken insult!?
What the fuck is wrong with people?
redarmy11 08-02-06, 04:18 AM Steve: I don't agree with it either, this kind of media intrusion is a scourge of modern life. But... it's one Mel should've been aware of.
mountainhare: Mel Gibson made anti-semitic remarks to an on-duty police officer. Again, he should have known better.
This article suggests that police tried to cover his remarks up but a media leak forced things out in the open:
http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/200608/s1703584.htm
Finally, some background on Gibson's dad, Hutton - the paranoid Holocaust denier:
http://www.nndb.com/people/988/000031895/
Gibson is widely reported to be a Holocaust denier, but he bristles at the term. He says he doesn't "deny" the Holocaust, he just thinks it was "exaggerated". "They claimed that there were 6.2 million [Jews] in Poland before the war and after the war there were 200,000, therefore [Hitler] must have killed six-million of them." But Gibson thinks he knows better. "They simply got up and left," he says. "They were all over the Bronx and Brooklyn and Sydney and Los Angeles." He believes that it wasn't al Qaeda that comandeered four jets on September 11, but Jews -- using remote control to pilot the planes. He also says evolution is bunk, and believes in the rhythm method of birth control (Gibson has eleven children). The family doesn't celebrate Christmas with presents, because Gibson views it only as a religious holy day.
Like father, like son?
spacemansteve 08-02-06, 04:21 AM Like i said, entitled to their own views, doesn't mean they are wrong or misguided. Yes Gibson should have known better, i absolutely agree with you on that. I just think its a knee jerk reaction. Especially with the current crisis in the mid east. I just think its wrong.
redarmy11 08-02-06, 04:27 AM Like i said, entitled to their own views, doesn't mean they are wrong or misguided. Yes Gibson should have known better, i absolutely agree with you on that. Hmm.. was starting to think that this discussion had run it's course but: you don't think Hutton Gibson is 'wrong or misguided' when he claims that most of Germany's jews fled to America? The evidence overwhelmingly suggests that he is 'wrong or misguided' on this point, doesn't it?
spacemansteve 08-02-06, 07:46 AM oh no no no no no... lol
Sorry you mistook me there! lol
i guess i should rewrite that as "Even though they are wrong or misguided"
Yes he is wrong and misguided on the holocaust, and in my opinion, an idiot for thinking the way he does.
Sorry to confuse you
Buffalo Roam 08-02-06, 08:05 AM Mel Gibson, is a drunk, I'm a drunk, but in recovery, AA, the problem is that alcohol, in our system does terrible thing to our mind, and we may say thing trying to be funny that are totally inappropriate to the situation, alcohol is a drug that changes perception and control, Mel Gibson has apologized, and has done so with true humility, and is going back into recovery, I wish him well he is on a long trip, and as so many before it will take many tries to accomplish recovery, and understand that alcohol and him don't mix.
broadandbeaver 08-02-06, 09:58 AM The day when a man can say what he wants without fear of backlash will be a wonderful day! The day a man can hate or love as he wishes without fear of some group pulling your mini-series will be a great day... Then again, your are doing a story about the "Holocaust"... might wanna tone done the "Jews are Evil" there Mel!
spidergoat 08-02-06, 02:34 PM Like father, like son. Fuck Mel Gibson, let him pay for his own movies. I mean, Mad Max was awesome, but jeez, what a hateful bastard.

Exactly.
The day when a man can say what he wants without fear of backlash will be a wonderful day!
Would you ever stand on a hilltop in an iron tub during a thunderstorm and yell "all gods are bastards! Especially that lightning guy!"?
otheadp 08-02-06, 03:22 PM a drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts
he came under scrutiny around the time when he released PotC... his father's and his fanaticism were disclosed. what happened a few days ago just confirmed it.
i did laugh when i read the report though - because he called one female cop at the scene "sugar tits" :D
i think his apology is enough and he should do what he said he would - meet with Jewish community leaders and do some sort of "healing"
i think though that he is just an erratic drunk so until he gets over his alcoholism maybe it won't help.
he is ultra-religious, rejecting the "second Vatican" and the Vatican's proclamation in the 60s that Jews are not collectively responsible for Jesus' death
how can someone change his core beliefs in which he was raised? i cant do anything about what he thinks except treat him nicely and hope he'd change his mind. but i expect him as a public figure to not incite hate - especialy for a group that made him what he is today (i.e. Hollywood Jews that gave him a chance to be a star)
Rubbish. It's got nothing to do with Israel, that's ridiculously conspiratorial. Mel Gibson is a long-term anti-semite who got drunk and spouted his big mouth off to the wrong people. Tough shit!
I'm not denying his feelings towards Jews. What I'm questioning is the sudden media blitz over the matter. There's a reason for everything.

People are never supposed to voice opposition to Israel, the all powerful Israel Lobby or Jewish people. They suffered the holocaust so no one but nazis and terrorists can express anything negative about them or their country. Those that do lose their credentials, careers and respect. Israel controls US foreign policy, domestic policy in many areas and vast swaths of the media, especially A.M. radio and conservative tv. I don't like Mel or his nazi dad, but I do support his freedom to ridicule while drunk.
spidergoat 08-02-06, 05:37 PM I don't think anyone is trying to take away Gibson's freedom to blather like an idiot. Also, people should have the freedom to react to his comments as they see fit. The notion of an all-powerful anything is not realistic, and the notion of an all-powerful Jewish anything is anti-semitism, derived directly from the Protocols.
deicide128 08-02-06, 05:44 PM the man isnt exactly sane so i rather he be destroyed.
I think he would be equally chastised if he said “Fucking niggers they are the cause for all the worlds crime” in fact that would probably get a bit more coverage.
and the notion of an all-powerful Jewish anything is anti-semitism
So giving a compliment as to how powerful Israel or Jews are, is being an anti-semite? See, that word can be used in regards to anything, LoL! This is one of the reasons why people have a distaste for them and are so tired of hearing that stupid word "anti-semite". Hell, I'm tired of hearing the word "freedom" so much by this administration and the right-wing as well.
Hey America, you're all super powerful and control the world. Am I being anti-American?

crazy151drinker 08-02-06, 10:57 PM Its kind of hard to convince Hollywood that your tv show can give an accurate account of the holocaust when you get drunk and make some naughty comments.

No, but you'd be being anti-semitic if you said it about jews. It's reasonable, based on the available evidence, to assert that america controls the world. It's not reasonable to assert that jews do. Further, the implication is usually that it's a 'secret cabal' of jews that run things - implying sinister underhandedness. It's an old slander.

For one thing, NO ONE IS IN CONTROL OF THE WORLD, it's a clusterfuck of chaotic forces and anyone's apparent control is always temporary. Secondly, this is never used in a positive context, but as an excuse to hate all Jewish people.
broadandbeaver 08-03-06, 12:25 PM Would you ever stand on a hilltop in an iron tub during a thunderstorm and yell "all gods are bastards! Especially that lightning guy!"?

That's what "THEY" want you to believe!!!
Who gives a shit what Mel has to say about Jews.
What is sicking is that the lowlife (MEL) was driving around drunk.
otheadp 08-03-06, 01:10 PM it's because his sugar tits were acting up

Make sure omeone goes with you to watch from the car, take notes and report the results of the experiment here on Sciforums :D

Or do they just want you to believe that that's what they want you to believe ... believe ... that believe that ... they ... er, nevermind.

There is an inane Jewish mistrust of Christianity , Jesus was a jew we all know that , but below is where through pressure a whole entire play has been changed to suit Jews .
RECOMMENDED CHANGES IN THE OBERAMMERGAU PASSION PLAY AFTER 1984 (http://ecumene.org/SHOAH/oberammer.htm)
THE PASSION OF THE JEW JESUS
BACKGROUND
Catholic and Jewish Concern
The Catholic and Jewish communities of the world are right to be seriously concerned about the impact the Oberammergau Passion Play has had and will continue to have. There have been, and still are, many passion plays, but none have attained anything like the world-wide fame that Oberammergau has--over half a million are again expected to see it in 1984. But beyond those five hundred thousand people's impressions is the symbolic significance and the influence on other passion plays the Oberammergau Passion Play will have. In any case, we Catholics need to be extremely sensitive on this matter in view of the long history of the "anguish of the Jews" (as Father Edward Flannery titles his history of anti-Semitism: The Anguish of the Jews, New York, 1965) at our hands. Let us recall only a small number of our most saintly anti-Semites.
Jewish literature lists St Peter , who is also Jewish ,as the greatest Anti-Semite of all time not Hitler , thats how deep this feeling goes . The fact is the basis of Christian vs Judaism is the fact that Christianity accedpts Christ as the true Jewish messiah , thats the crux of the theological battle .
As far as Jews being out to get Gibson, did they hyponotize him to make him say the idiotic things he did? I really like a lot of his movies, and was disappointed to hear those comments. Still, his apology seemed heartfelt.
I think in light of 1 Jewish person who was shot dead outside a Synagogue with 5 other wounded in Seattle , I believe this incident should be kept quiet , lest this provokes another lethal incident .
The Devil Inside 08-03-06, 03:12 PM *harrassment alert*
why should the death of someone be "kept quiet"?
im really excited to hear the answer to this one.
I believe this incident should be kept quiet So then keep quiet and tell your buddy Mel to keep quiet too, he's the one got this crap going, just another typical dumbshit goyim. his lest this provokes another lethal incident .Bring it on, like lebanon.
Hey Bri Bri, when are we going drinking?
Brian Foley 08-03-06, 04:01 PM *harrassment alert*

Read it again , S-L-O-W-L-Y and see what I wrote , a minor icident of drunken words by a famous star could influence someone like yourself who is weak minded and easily led into committing an atrocity .
So then keep quiet and tell your buddy Mel to keep quiet too, he's the one got this crap going, just another typical dumbshit goyim.
Mel Gibson to me is another wealthy rightwing Christian , I say take his wealth and give it to Americas poor .
Bring it on, like lebanon.
It was Seattle , and I think giving press to Anti-Semitic comments in this political charged atmosphere is a little unwise .
Hey Bri Bri, when are we going drinking?
My Bar is always open mate , and I am a good host , ask anyone ;) send me a PM if you live close to me , genuine offer :) .
River Ape 08-03-06, 05:41 PM I enjoyed the movie Braveheart :p
Gibson's drunken anti-Jewish remarks were nothing compared with the rabid racist anti-English fantasy of Braveheart.
Go smash the bastard, you yids!!!
Poor mel gibson, now they will go after his wealth and bankrupt him and i am sure they will find some contact between him and Nazi germany and then Mel will pay them 75% of wealth just like germany and other countries pay them till today .............i have no idea why they receive any sort of compensation at all? It was 50 years ago and it was a filthy war. Why do they cash in their deads?
Mel Gibson in the Simpsons: "It's hell being Mel!"
:D
spacemansteve 08-04-06, 09:53 AM Gibson's drunken anti-Jewish remarks were nothing compared with the rabid racist anti-English fantasy of Braveheart.
Which parts? Its all historically correct... William longshanks was a ruthless king, his son was ruthlessly gay. The context that braveheart captured was historically accurate... Sure a bit of hollywood dramatisation doesn't hurt but at the end of the day... Historical events.
Like i said, good movie. But hey then again i like scottish people, and poms (as long as they don't beat us in cricket or rugby :D ).
hug-a-tree 08-04-06, 03:29 PM People seem to be more mad about the Anti-semite remarks then the drunk driving. I don't get it. He could've killed someone while he was driving. Who cares if he doesn't like Jews? That might sound mean and it's not right for him to say what he said, I guess, but it's not that big of a deal. He said he was sorry after all. If a Jew were to dis a Catholic I truely believe that he would have been forgiven the person in a heart beat. People are saying they won't even work with him now. = / I can understand why people might be mad at him but he said he was sorry so why not just move on now?
john smith 08-04-06, 03:44 PM bollocks to that, you reckon an apology actually rectifies something
hug-a-tree 08-04-06, 03:47 PM Yes. Why not?
thedevilsreject 08-04-06, 03:47 PM i think that it is part of american culture, i mean the jewish community in america is large and powerful, yet it is not so large in a place like here in britain and so not a lot has been made of it really
hug-a-tree 08-04-06, 03:51 PM Yes, but what are they going to do? Hate him forever? He said he was sorry and he's seeking help threw the Jewish community. I just don't get why more people are mad about that then the drunk driving.
My question is, why would I guy with a gross worth of $900 million feel compelled to make apologies. This looks more like a promotional for an upcoming show or movie.

I heard he was going to make a movie on the Holocaust.

He is afraid, simple. They will take his wealth away like i said earlier. Like they still take compenstation from germany and france etc. He will end up giving most of his wealth since he made those comments aggainst gods chosen people. Also can any one please explain why do they cash on their deads? like they ask for money and gold etc till today for whatever happened to them 50 years ago? Thank you.
I heard he was going to make a movie on the Holocaust.
And my opinion, that is the true motivation behind the hype.
spacemansteve 08-05-06, 01:06 PM The whole thing has been blown out of proportion. That is the problem. I mean the media sensationalises things especially when it comes to celebrities. I bet you the talk about him losing big business with jewish owned/run companies is all rumours that just have to make the front page because its about Mel Gibson, Jew's (Israel/Hezbollah war)... plus it sells
Gimme a break, go back to reporting the real news please... (or atleast go back to whatever you thought was the real news :p)
I stll like Mel. The guy is an artist and his later work shows quality. I don't need to see another movie about the Holocaust though. It's a dead hoarse.

My question, why can't they let go of holocaust? why do they cash in the deads and take compensation from Germany, France etc etc? It was 50 years ago and they still take money from those country, recent example is Germany giving them free submarines for holocaust.
Any one care to answer?
I have no answer as to how instruments of war might bring back the dead.
any learned jewish people or israelis here would like to shared some information about it please?
thank you.
Most Israelis might not know themselves. All they know is fear.

what do they fear sir? F-16s? or F-15s> or 400 nukes?
deicide128 08-06-06, 09:44 AM the guy with the baggy coat sitting next to you on the bus the guy that just walked into the pizza shop or a random rocket spraying you with 100s of ball bearings
the guy with the baggy coat sitting next to you on the bus the guy that just walked into the pizza shop or a random rocket spraying you with 100s of ball bearings
so the fear is mutual..... f-16s/f-15s/merkevas/rain of bullets vs a guy in loose coat.... i understand now.
deicide128 08-06-06, 01:30 PM you understand little more then eating and sleeping.
well if the man said he would be bombing the bus with in the next few days. Or was as easy to distinguish as a tank. People should not be forgiven for their ignorance support a group that cant defend you and provokes an enemy who is more powerful. Its easy math for anyone with half a brain.
yes the fear is mutual.

Why can't they let go of the fact that most of their families were murdered in one of the most brutal events of the 20th century? ...and that this was a culmination of centuries of oppression by the Christian majority? ...and that this proved the need for Jews to defend themselves and their culture through force of arms?
...yeah, they should pretend it never happened.

Is that why the Israeli government now uses force, aggression, indiscriminate bombing and occupation to resolve problems with the neighbors? Because they know oppression subdues people and makes them compliant and amenable to peace? :bugeye:
broadandbeaver 08-07-06, 02:04 PM Israel is simply acting on the old saying, "Do unto others as others have done unto you"!
I have to wonder. Doesn't Israel see that after this they will never be safe? They pretty much just made a few 1000 more enemies willing to wipe it off the map by any means possible. Those who had no ties to Hizballah will now join ranks with them.
They have to have some motive for waiting this. I can't believe they didn't think about this. But then America blindly continues on her course to destruction...
It would be nice if people could stop fricking with each other and just live and let live. "Can't we all just get along?"

They have to have some motive for waiting this. I can't believe they didn't think about this. But then America blindly continues on her course to destruction...
You forget; mass media was not so developed in 1982.
I don't think they anticipated this result:

And they forgot that guerilla warfare fought on home ground is difficult to win against.
It would be nice if people could stop fricking with each other and just live and let live. "Can't we all just get along?"
Yes
spidergoat 08-07-06, 03:18 PM Is that why the Israeli government now uses force, aggression, indiscriminate bombing and occupation to resolve problems with the neighbors? Because they know oppression subdues people and makes them compliant and amenable to peace? :bugeye:
They use aggression to solve problems of aggression. They use force to counteract force from without. Get real. When negotiation is possible, of course they prefer it. The big problem is that their neighbor's positions are often non-negotiable.
