It could explain why draqon is a homophobe and loves planes so much.

Misquote for the last line: gay revisionism.
It isn't "You can ride my tail".
Apart from that, however...

 can we not discuss draqon in all this

Quoting from him:

"gays are beating the Russians"

so Russians are against gays, so Russians are anti-gay.

I am a Russian.

that's if we follow "ride my tail" analysis of this TopGun movie.

What is the actual quote?

No, probably not. It was inevitable, I just wanted to beat the rush. :p

Tarantino gay-perspective altered the whole scene behind TopGun, meanwhile what it is really about is the struggle to free himself from the surrounding gay society. Its a struggle to find the normal sexuality and discover it with an opposite sex, a beautiful Goddess.

Moderator please close this thread as it goes against Sciforums protocols and regulations and attacks viciously a member of this community, in this case, me (draqon).

Nonsense.
I see no vicious attacks at all.

What attack?

What is the actual quote?

"You can be my wingman anytime".
Which is accepted (straight ;) ) parlance.

Exactly you can't see it.

aHa! So it establishes a normal sexuality a healthy view! TopGun is a movie about a struggling normal man with healthy sexual views amongst homosexuals, and he finally finds the true normal way at the end. Ah what a delightful movie, indeed.

Are you saying that I have viciously attacked you because I wondered about your latent homosexuality tendencies?
I think that would be bigoted - and that IS against the rules.

Not true.
By its very nature military culture has strong homosexual undertones.

That said however the movie was about cool-looking jets and its main focus was "mindless"* action and recruitment for the USN.
I saw it as soon as possible and weeks later went with my (then) wife. All the way through she kept saying "But there's no depth, no plot" and my reply was "Who cares? Just look at 'planes..."

* Not that I have anything at all against mindless action movies, Shoot 'em Up (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0465602/) was excellent in that regard, I could re-watch it any time.

I am saying that you viciously attacked me by accusing me of having a wrong point of view of human sexuality and personalizing this in a thread.

Ah, my apologies.
If you ensured that your jokes were funny in future it may help distinguish them from your "serious" posts.
Oh wait...

Top Gun is one of my favourite movies. I love the homo-scenes; they're too funny!

But you think that Topgun implied that the navy was accepting of homosexuality unlike other branches of the US military? I think there is some background for this, remember that Village People’s song “In the Navy” that the US navy wanted to use for recruitment purposes.
And Cher a gay icon did a song on the deck of a battle ship surrounded but an all-male audience?

:bugeye:

Shoot 'Em Up was the worst movie I'v ever seen. It's only redeeming quality was Monica Bellucci in the skimpy outfit.
