Who else is holding their breaths for this? When will we see it in the States?

I just wish I could be Billy Piper, who Im sure grew up watchin the reruns and videos like me.

Hope they havnt re-designed the Tardis too much, and its not like in that Paul Mcgan movie (very silly set). Of course we all want to see Darleks again, but I think they should use the Silurians more. + bring back the Rani as well as the MAster! What do the rest of you hope for?

I think all of that in one movie would be a bit much. They should have one main enemy, whether daleks or old reptile beasties with heat rays, or a daemon, or cybermen or such. One main baddie, and some people who both help and hinder, a la the origin of the Daleks.

Cor, its over 8 years since I last saw any Dr Who, and I still remember them. The best ones were the ones from the 70's and early 80's.

Its a new series, not just 1 movie! The site I linked says 13 45-min episodes.

oops. Didnt read that first. Still, the original Dr Who series were each maybe as many as 13 episodes long, but each has only one main plot and enemy. So I am a little worried by the idea of each episode being different. You cant get much depth like that, rememebr the Dr was never anything like "Stargate" or "24".

It might be more like he-man or thundercats, with stand-alone episode storys - theyd still be twice as long.
