2 British girls were caught trying to smuggle 300,000 pounds worth of cocaine out of Ghana; to say they were um...unintelligent, would be...well here's a quote from one of them:

"There were basically two boys over here who gave us two bags and told us... it was an empty bag.

"We never thought anything bad was inside... and they told us to go to the UK and drop it off to some boy... at the airport.

"It was basically like a set-up. They didn't tell us nothing, we didn't think nothing, because basically we are innocent.

"We don't know nothing about this drugs and stuff."

They were given 2 bags and were told IT was an empty bag, never mind that IT probably weighed more than a kilo. These girls went to Ghana, stayed in a hotel paid for by some strange men, were given some heavy 'empty bags' that they had to take to some other stranger in the UK, their parents didn't even know they had left the country, they incriminate themselves further by making stupid statements to a TV channel and they maintain they are innocent. What do you think?

300K Brish pounds worth of coke translates to an average of 10 kilos (22lbs) at wholesale prices, so for the girl to say that she thought the bags were empty is beyond a joke, I'm surprised they managed to lift them. Now, if she'd said that she thought the bags contained laptop computers, she would have sounded much more credible.
