View Full Version : The march of the mind.
I think it's been quite well established that three is a signficant number; Sigmund Freud identified three parts to the human mind (Id, Ego and Super-Ego), we have the mind the body and the soul, there are animals vegetables and minerals, and there are three primary colours.
Some might argue that this excludes white and black, however as the following diagrams show, there are three colours of light and there are three colours of pigment (what I would call true colour). These two give white and black respectively:

So there are in fact three primary colours, and all other colours can be created from them:

It's no secret that the National colour of the enemy of freedom (commune ism) is Red, as shown in the hammer and sickle, and as such its' enemy has chosen blue to be it's national colour:
http://www.bornintheussr.com/Hammer.gif http://www.homeofheroes.com/hallofheroes/1st_floor/flag/great_seal_obverse.jpg
Despite this national seal (and the national flag) containing red, it is always shown as being contained, or broken.
There are many examples of red being opposed to blue (in football games red traditionally opposes blue, and this is still evident today!), and many other examples of this (red opposing blue) can be found. It's also evident that the police forces of each country have the corresponding colours (red and blue) and the American police force (and other authorities) show theirselves to have contained, and therefore to have control of, both, i.e. existence and the soul:

So the different countries favour greatly different things.
We know that the soul contains complete irrationality, but this is not an objective irrationality, rather it is only so complex because the body (existence and genetics etc) have been set as so objective! (see attachment)
Perhaps it's a coincidence that 'blue movies' contain what is desired by the soul (what has been set as sin), but perhaps it isn't. The signs of such shops are also set to blue.
So existence (the body), as an opposition to the imagination (phantasy and the soul) have been cornered by todays world authorities, so the only move forward must be through the mind (reason).
There's no conclusion here, it was just noticed.
The following attachment contains a diagram (of what is thought) are the mind's, body's, and souls' corresponding colours. Note the mind is what can reason between phantasies and reality (what is not real and what is real), however it must also be noted that it is within the mind that phantasies exist!
Martian 09-19-03, 07:59 AM how about the individuals (including animals) who are inherited colorblind
Martian 09-19-03, 08:07 AM rat, for instance, is mon-chromatic and perceives only shades of gray
How do you know martian???

and there are three primary coloursThis is a function of our biology, not something that is inherent in nature. We see three primary colors because we have three types of color sensitive photoreceptors (known as cones) in our eyes. If we had four we would see four primary colors.

This is just sad.
First of all, there is no proof for Sigmund Freud's theory (despite it being called well established fact). The concept of mind, body, and soul is equally as stupid, and anyone with a bit of biological knowledge knows that "animal, vegetable, or mineral" is not a real classification for anything, but a simple slogan to generalise objects.
PS: Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the primary colors RED, BLUE and YELLOW?

You know, there are certain types of cray-fish/shrimp/something or other that have 12 different photoreceptors!
Just to put a little info in.
Does everyone know that some birds can see magnetic fields?
Acording to a discovery channel program they can and dolphins can determine the difference between a dime and a penny blindfolded do to their super sensitive sonar.
What does everyone thing about that?:bugeye:
