    Hello again,

I’m really sorry to say it to you, but thank the democracy system, the blood of innocent, killed during near war imposed by American Government will be also on your hands. This is not only empty symbol. Everywhere outside US you will meet with look daggers at you and ill-disposed approach. If you want to rule the world because you are so strong you will do that but everybody will hate you. If you don’t believe me – please remember how Germans were “welcomed” in other countries during and just after WWII.

    Chris

Too bad we can't be remembered for saving your ass during WWII, but then I guess you would be german right now and not have much to bitch about.

Well, Iraq has just rejected the U.N. proposals, so it looks like the U.S. will have their sanction. Remember, Iraq could have had the embargo and the fly overs end long ago if the government (read Saddam Hussain) had just been willing to allow the inspectors a free rein. Considering he had just lost a war, inspections seem like a small price to pay.

I really would like to see those inspectors in Iraq as well as in the US at the same time.

Aside from the fact that Saddam has a very nasty character, there still is no hard evidence whatsoever, that there actually are MD weapons present in Iraq, something the US cannot say without hesitation.

The on and on talk about WWII is a pretty stupid issue to recall every time someone doubts the intentions of the bush administration.

It was a German woman no, who compared bush with Hitler a few days ago? And immediately said with it that it was not meant that way, because the bush administration makes such a big deal out of it ?

Where do they not make a big issue of nowadays. Is it really, if you are not with the US than you are against the US?

At the moment they take offense on the most idiotic things. My goodness...

"At the moment they take offense on the most idiotic things. My goodness..."

A few days ago Canada was being lambasted for our Prime Minister making comments stating that the attacks of Sept. 11th were inevitable because of Western Culture's greed, love for power and superior attitude. Chretien said this in an interview in June 2002. It was aired again in a special on Sept. 11th 2002. Of course, idiots forgot that he said it months ago and yelled at Chretien for saying such "horrible things on the anniversary of one of the greatest trajedies in our history".

Western culture? Oh my, yes. You are part of the western culture too, you are just north of the US. You, in fact, made a post about "New drugs", drugs, that, no doubt, cost alot of money, money you could spend feeding a starving child in China.

And a post about how your life is so easy being 16 years old in a mid wealthy family. And IMO you fit the profile of a greedy american. I don't like most americans or the decisions they make, but please don't try and make your country sound holy.

Oh, South America is also technically in the Western Hemisphere. And people are starving to death all over South America. And, Central America (Mexico and below).

"Hail to great Canada, those who are not materialistic"

Sorry if I sound like I am starting a flame, but the way his post sounded, I make an opinion as to what he is trying to imply, I just couldn't resist

Ok, you are right, nevermind that (it doesn't matter whether he is new). I am just thinking he was a former member who was despised. He has no valid points, and is pointing a finger at the Nazis while mentioning america.

I have seen no efforts from america to try and take over the world.

In Singapore, you can have your buttocks permanently mutilated and go through extreme pain just for spray painting a wall (they take an extremely sharp object, kind of like a martial arts bamboo stick, and "spank" you with it; I think people have actually died from blood loss this way).

A teenage US resident was on vacation there and was caughting spray painting a wall. This was while Clinton was in office. He did nothing to stop the Singapore government. He did not write them a letter threatening to bomb their city if they tortured a teenage american (though this incident was broadcast all over the news).

The US did not try and change another countries policy or invade their land.

And in Singapore, you can be given the death penalty for smoking a joint of weed.

The US government and most american people are not trying to take over the world, it is just interested in expanding its own land and money, not overthrowing other peoples land.

Ah yes, yet another American to jump on the wagon and not actually read an entire of a thing before remarking.

You'll notice I, nor Chretien, left Canada out of the West. In fact, if you go read the entire interview he talks about Canada's part in it. But of course, reading something is just too hard, hmmm?

You didn't post a link to the interview. You just seemed to point out something that had other intentions.

It is hard for most people to control their desires for pleasure without going too far when technology like computers are around. And they develop no tolerance for pain and refuse to suffer it (no wonder there is a shortage of blood donations down here, people don't want to be stuck with a needle). To a certain extent, in some aspects I am one of those peoeple.

But anyhow, nice to know more Canadians are greedy too.

The difference between Iraq having WMD and governments like the U.S., Russia, China, etc. having them is that the Iraqi government is basically one man -- Saddam Hussain, and he has shown himself to be a sociopathic killer. Do you really think it wise for individuals to own WMD? Because that's what we're talking about when we speak of Iraq having them.

Also, some history: Iraq (Saddam) launched a war against Iran, and then he launched a war against Kuwait. The U.S. and other governments got U.N. approval to kick Iraq out of Kuwait and they did so. The U.N. then imposed sanctions on Iraq to insure that it was incapable of attacking other countries. Saddam resisted these at every step and made a mockery of the whole process and has continued to do so to this day. Until someone goes back into Iraq and makes sure that Saddam has been rendered incapable of aggressive acts or terrorist attacks using WMD, the rest of the world isn't going to be safe.

    Clarentavious,

As a matter of fact, the US made troubles about the ICC, which is a matter of all nations. Why do US soldiers have to be excluded from an international court when they violate human rights. I couldn't care less whether it are "war crimes" or otherwise. It's all the same, human rights violation is human rights violation.

Mr. president bush is not president Clinton, so I do not see the relevance here.

You have not seen the US try to take over the world? How blind can you be?!

bush only agreed on the return of UN inspector's in Iraq, to sooth the rest of the world. You really think he actually planned not to invade Iraq anyhow?

What are you implying here? That we should compare the US with Singapore? Why?

Will it change the hunger for world power from the bush administration? They look like hungry wolfs, with their tongues out of their mouths, ready to attack in an instant, smelling blood already.

They do try to change other nations politics too, by forcing other nations to join in on this attack on Iraq. What about the people who are left in Afghanistan after the invasion and devastation by the US? Does the US mind that people over there are living in a total mess at the moment? It is up to other nations to clean up for them.

What will be the next target..?

No, I am saying, the US did not say to Singapore "You'd better stop brutally torturing people who vandalise walls over there or we are going to come over there and bomb the sh*t out of you, send soldiers in to kill your politicians, and change your laws to the way WE like them"

The US laws do not agree with many other countries in the way they treat their people. I do not see the US trying to take over other people's land or force them into things..... for the most part except for bad places like Iraq.

The US just wants more money and to expand its physical enterprise over its own native terrian. Russia is trying to get Chechnia (spelling) to become Russia, they are going to the extent of invading with a war. The US is not sending soldiers down to Mexico, or up to Canada, to try and take them over to become a part of us.

Banshee it seems to me you just don't like the US goverment. I didn't say the US goverment wasn't evil, but alot of american people are as well. The goverment is not the only problem; not only that, but I am not going to speak lies about them, or anyone else regardless of whether they are evil.

Explain rest of the world please? In your mind where can he attack with 70miles range missiles or 200km range missiles. If any left. Also there are plenty of morons in usa who thinks that he can build a nuke with in months. That is the most stupid thing I have ever heard. You don't buy nukes in 5 pieces and then assemble them at home. Or order them online. You need a very big infrastructure for that and it is not possible to hide all that in todays world. Look at India and pakistan, every one knew where and when they were working on nukes. There are plenty of sattelites out there and they can detect that, how come only usa is whining about it? What about other sattelites in the whole world, are they not able to pick that up?. And if some one did give Iraq a nuke..........why the hell don't go and get them first???. Anyways, my prayers are with americans and Iraqis both and hope they will find a better way to solve their problems. But it doesn't look possible with the hawkish goverment running the world right now.

567 - Saddam can develop WMD and then hand them over to terrorists to bring into the U.S. He doesn't need any sophisticated delivery system like missiles.

To develop enriched uranium takes an effort that might well be detectable by satellite, but Iraq doesn't need to develop it if it could acquire the material from someone else like Pakistan, North Korea, or the Russian mafia. Creating the "trigger", and making a bomb is not something that would be detectable by satellite.

Question: If Iraq doesn't have something to hide then WHY won't they allow unhindered inspections? They would have much to gain (lifting of sanctions) so why won't they allow them?

Postoak- But how is gona build one?. You think Iraq can build one by herslef?. Becuase all the third world countries had major support. Pakistan hand chinese support and indians had russians. But again Iraq ONCE tried that and Israel took those sites out easily. Now it is no different, if Iraq is going to produce anything of that nature, Israel would take care of it way before any one else. They do have the best inteligence service in the world, so again my question, can you hide a nuclear infrastructure?. No! not possible for a destroyed country like iraq, already under sancations and again where would u fit those sattelites? spies? etc etc?. There are other major players in this world and they have their eyes on Iraq as well. Anyways, I know I can't prove he doesn't have them and you can't prove that he does. I can just give you logical evidence.

    later.

I am talking the bush administration, Clarentavious, not the citizens in this. However, I do not see how so many people can passively accept what is happening. Yes, you are very right, I do not like the US government at all.

A little while ago, some weeks, 2 months or so, there was a protest against bush from civilians(US). What happens? The cops shoot at them with rubber bullets. My god...

I know about Russia, yes. And don't aprove of that either but that is not the issue here. This is going about the US, in particular, the bush administration. You use the word evil Clarentavious, not I.

Postoak, how the hell are the terrorists going to bring these MD devices into the US with all the security going on? Just curious...

Banshee -- surely you jest! So much cargo arrives in the U.S. every day that it can receive only the most cursory examination. How do you think all the tons and tons of illegal drugs get into the U.S?

Something I would like to remind everyone here, it was the Clinton administration that sent troops over to Yugoslavia to defend the Albanias from the Serbs. And Clinton was the same guy that lied under oath about about having sex with Monica L., and did the rest of that crap like WhiteWater. Banshee I don't see a reason to single out bush if all of the US gov in the past has been "bad" (if you'd like to use the term bad over evil).

Blaming coporate america is no solution to this. StarGirl gives about $20 a month to feed starving children over seas (and she mentioned she worked a community service type structure in the post where she mentioned she couldn't remember the word "competetive" about her salary). Alot of people don't go to the effort to do that, which is quite small. No no, material objects are more important than starving people's food. If 200 million americans made even a small chip in to donate to crushed contries like Afghanistan (which you mentioned Banshee), it would probably have as big of a finanicial impact as if the business leaders gave up their riches, if not more.

If I am going to point fingers at other people for being immoral, I will at least admit to my own mistakes, which I have enough of........

Edit, when I refer to most of these americans, specially those who have excess money and spend it on themselves, I mean mid to mid lower class income, not people who have no money and are living in the slums. Last I checked with the census, the population of the US, including Alaska and Hawaii, was almost 300 million. I would say less than 100 million are poor, at most (that in itself is a 3rd of the population, probably less).

This of not of course, to say that other countries like England don't do the same thing. We can't learn to share properly. Like Adam put it, in general, people kind of suck. Just because the human race exist, doesn't mean on the whole we are good or well intentioned.

Or, "without proper information and decisions, people tend to go the wrong way"
