The North American wood frog, which resides mainly in tundra areas has an amazing ability. It can freeze itself stiff during winter with no brain or heart activity, and defrosts back to life in the spring. This is obviously amazing since the Frog is legally and medically dead during the winter. Sure Reptiles are cold blooded, but does this also insinuate a supernatural side of life? What is your own version of the "supernatural"?

It's super, and it's natural, but I don't think it's supernatural.

Toads can also dig themselves into the ground in the desert and wait out a drought.

The frog is "Legally" dead? Does that mean its tadpoles get to inherit?

The frogs produce a natural anti-freeze that protects their cells from damage at low temperatures. No supernatural explanations are needed.
