Does it matter that the questions are misleading, the given answers wrong, and the whole thing has little to do with "liberals" and nothing to do with Obama ?

Simply an outstanding post! I am from Ireland so I am unfamiliar with any of the terms such as liberal and who's from which party so I'll ask simply enough, is this stuff pro Obama? If so, he's got my vote (in theory ^^).

No, they're not. The test isn't blaming anyone for anything. It's a freakin' test. A test that shows how much we really don't know. Hell, I got one wrong and I'm supposed to know ALL that stuff. :o

do you understand the concept of implying something it is by the way they load the statements that the reason there "stats" are true is because of liberals they don't come out and say it but it is implied

So are you going to take the test or just keep arguing how bad it is?

Nothing is implied. I asked three of my liberal friends to take it. They weren't offended in any way.

Take the test and tell me how many you got right. I'm curious.

Since "none of the above" was never a choice, the right answer was not available for half the questions. Guessing from the obvious bias of the writer, I got two "wrong" - then I noticed the pattern of answers and went back and changed them to all "correct".

Example:

The US probably spends about 2/3 of its Federal budget on military stuff - estimates that run as high as 80% involve hairier assumptions (about homelessness, drugs, mental illness, etc).

Social Security is not part of the Federal budget, (as can be seen from the fact that the Feds borrow from the SS surplus to cover the budget).

The Iraq War is not part of the Defense Budget.

So that question was impossible to answer by knowledge - by guessing the bias it was easy.

The most interesting factoid in there was public health expenditure: notice that according to this guy the US could buy Canada's entire system for itself without raising taxes at all. Universal health care, lower taxes, simultaneously!

I don't quite believe this guy, of course. But it's an interesting take on the matter, no?

Your problem is realizxing you are wrong.

How was it determined that 95% of Americans are of lower intelligene than Bush ?

Did the spending on healthcare take account of costs. If the cost of healthcare is taken into account you get far less for your dollar than we in the UK do. But don't let that disturb you. Do you ever think about what yu read, or do you just soak up the information that suits you, like blotting paper?

4. While 140 countries have signed the Kyoto Treaty to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, the U.S. refuses to do so. From 1994 to 2004, carbon dioxide emissions from consumption of fossil fuels increased by 19.4% in Canada, 26.4% in Greece, 42.9% in Norway, and 68.4% in China. How much did carbon dioxide emissions from consumption of fossil fuels increase in the U.S. from 1994 to 2004?

(a) 129%
(b) 92.1%
(c) 29.1%
(d) 12.9%

Bush has promised to lead the wirld in cutting carbon emissions. Can't someone tell him we've started without him ?

Talk about advanced technology - on carbon emissions I heard him say, we will slow it down, stop it and REVERSE it. Has anyone an inkling how we can reverse emissions after we have stopped them ? His words were greeted with rapturous applause, so some people must know how it can be done.
