This message came in today and I think it is certainly worth checking it out. More and more voices speak of this new face of war. So I decided to post the last message I got on this. THE NEW FACE OF WAR While listening to the Art Bell show now featuring George Noory, an idea struck as I listed to guest Nick Begich who was speaking about the HAARP project in Alaska. The line between combatants and non-combatants has blurred now more than ever as combatants embed themselves among the people. Warfare as we have known it was accomplished in terms of death and destruction. Bullets and bombs were aimed and hurled at the enemy to defeat the opposing forces. A new concept has been given birth in this new age of warfare - the concept of disabling the enemy in body and mind even before he can strike out to defend. In this technological age there are at least two targets of weapons that have not seen much use before: 1) the human mind and emotions, and 2) electronic systems, especially any computer- controlled systems. Without rational minds and the electronic controls, the enemy is rendered disabled, and, with minimum destruction, is defeated. Here is some information bearing on target 1... "1) In his pioneering work, Dr. Ross Adey determined that emotional states and behavior can be remotely influenced merely by placing a subject in an electromagnetic field. By directing a carrier frequency to stimulate the brain and using amplitude modulation to shape the wave to mimic a desired EEG frequency, he was able to impose a 4.5 CPS theta rhythm on his subjects. Drs. Joseph Sharp and Allen Frey experimented with microwaves seeking to transmit spoken words directly into the audio cortex via a pulsed-microwave analog of the speaker's sound vibration. Indeed, Frey's work in this field, dating back to 1960, gave rise to the so called "Frey effect" which is now more commonly referred to as "microwave hearing." (19) Within the Pentagon this ability is now known as "Artificial Telepathy." (20) Adey and others have compiled an entire library of frequencies and pulsation rates which can effect the mind and nervous system. (21) In a 1993 U.S. Air Command and Staff College paper entitled Non Lethal Technology and Air Power, authors Maj. Jonathan W. Klaaren (USAF) and Maj. Ronald S. Mitchell (USAF) outlined selected NLT weapons. These included "Acoustic" (pulsed/attenuated high-intensity sound, infrasound (very low frequency) and Polysound (high volume, distracting) as well as high-power microwaves (HPM) that possessed the ability to deter or incapacitate human beings. These and other classified weapons are being passed to domestic law enforcement agencies, as shown by the 1995 ONDCP (Office of National Drug Control Policy) International Technology Symposium, "Counter-Drug Law Enforcement: Applied Technology for Improved Operational Effectiveness," which outlined the "Transition of advanced military technologies to the civil law enforcement environment." There are some observers who fear that the burgeoning narcotics industry is an ideal "cover" in which to "transit" Non Lethal Technologies to domestic political tasks. Whether this is merely a misplaced "Orwellian" fear remains to be seen. However, organized crime is so globally "organized" that experts now believe it is impossible to eradicate or even effectively combat. High Power Microwave HPM-weapons of conventional type is a narrow band system and generate extremely high powered (gigawatts) RF sine wave at some given frequency, most often to cause a target system (computer) to burn out. Ultra Wide Band UWB-weapons generate a much wider band of frequencies than do HPM sources (narrow band) and thus ensure that some energy is at a frequency to efficiently couple to the computer system. Equipment which has been hardened against electromagnetic attack will withstand orders of magnitude greater field strengths than standard commercially rated equipment. One More - All advanced technology weapon systems are classified, some higher than others so the real extent of new weapon systems development is unknown. One thing is known - new sophisticated means of spying have been developed and penetrating millimeter wavelengths can look through walls to see and technology has been under development since at least 1980 to monitor and interpret human brain waves without physical contact. We must remember what we can develop others will follow and then we will need counter-measures. It is indeed possible these days to effect mass slavery through technology. Just a few months back the US military and government revealed plans to install on helicopters for riot control and such some microwave devices which would cause discomfort, pain, and fear. Anyone remember that?
