For about the last year and a half, really since when he first started, I've been watching the Scottish comedian Craig Ferguson's late night show here on the States. It comes after Letterman and is consistantly the best of the late night shows, I say. This is specifically owing to the fact that Ferguson employs a story-telling style of monologue, rather than the generally unfunny joke telling of Leno, Letterman, and Conan.

Anyone else watch and like this show as much as I do?

I've seen him. I don't really get it.

I've seen that and it sucks.

Leno is a suckass Republican with that uncle tom guitar player taking various racial jibes, and the gay guy totally selling his soul to get laughs. Fuck Him.

Letterman is plain unfunny with the worst studio band ever.

Anyone else watch and like this show as much as I do?I caught a few videos on YouTube and yes, he's pretty funny. His style doesn't look as painfully rehearsed as most others (Letterman can be quite bad that way).

Funny you should mention that, as he does no rehersals. The most he claims to do is sit down with his staff for an hour or two before the show and think of the basic outline of things, rather than the specific.

david letterman's "schtick" is that people dont laugh at him.
