I think that what sciforums could use is a "kiddy table forum". This forum should be where annoying individuals are sent when they too often clutter up otherwise healthy threads with off topic, or just delusional posts. I think that this could really help to clean up the legitimate science forums, and even really help to empty out the Pseudoscience and Parapsychology boards.

I'm not sure how this bulletin board system works, but I think it'd be really great if moderators could set it up such that any posts by a flagged user on a specific thread would be re-directed automatically to a thread of the same name in the Kiddy Table Forum. Once they see that their posts are ending up in this forum of shame, maybe they'll get the hint and start behaving themselves so that they can hang out with the grown-ups.

Yeah, ok this whole kiddy forum idea is just a tool for me to demean people, act haughty, and lord over 'em, but come on, you know it's tempting to implement.

I think its a good idea, but mined if i tweek it a little:

Instead of automaticly moving them to a new sub-forum lest have it auto ignore them so that every post they makes says this:

"This person is being auto ignored by the forum until they shape up and stop ranting, flaming, insulting, or doing what ever they have been doing to piss us off, if you want to see their post click Here (http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?s=&action=showpost&postid=371527#371527) "
