Hey guys, I've been working on this for a few days. Its about the upcoming WWIII scenario that probably won't happen but is interesting to speculate. Its not done yet, but its still good. Give me you review too. Any plot holes, ideas, scenarios, etc. Hope you enjoy:
The world said to itself that WWI would be the last war ever fought. An echo was heard after WWII. But know the public opinion is that of “go ahead and fight, just not around us” as seen in Korea, Vietnam, and twice in Iraq. It is the latest war in Iraq that will get the people repeating what they said less than a century ago.
The US occupation of Iraq will be one move the US regrets. It will start a tidal wave of attacks and bombings and eventually hit land with WWIII. For decades, people have speculated about when WWIII would happen and where. We all knew it would, for it was inevitable. There is no way to control every country and make sure that a proper government is in place unless of course of total imperialism. This new war will be the bloodiest war since the beginning of man since it will involve all the superpowers (past and present) of the world and then some. New weapons developed by the US military will create very long lasting effects. These new weapons will create the blast of nuclear bombs and the danger of dirty bombs. But before we get into the detail, we must set the stage for WWIII.
March 2003: US invades Iraq.
June 2003: The war seems to be close to being over.
December 2003: Saddam is captured by US forces.
May 4 2005: The chain-reaction of the start of WWIII
A little over a year after the US steps into Iraq, WWIII starts. Because on May 4th 2005, terrorists take over a building in a WACO-like style (Shiites hold a communication building hostage with 56 people inside and force the hostages to air a message to the rest of the world about the US occupation; all 56 citizens die (some on video), 23 Shiites dies, and 17 coalition troops dies in a fire-fight.) and queue other terrorist groups to do the same. The US is swamped with bombings every day. President Bush decides to increase the number of troops in Iraq to bring down the networks that threaten peace. The citizens are so fed up with the US and the threat of their families dieing that they decide to join terrorist groups. Iraq is a war zone. An alliance between Shiites and Sunni is the first real rival of the US in Iraq. The new terrorists, actually more of a small army of 950 committed members, were called Juiids which translates to “peace through God”. The Juiids force the coalition out of the city of Basra, an unlikely spot for an uprising that the US never expected. They quickly fortified the city and recruited another 125 troops, some as young as 15. Under the command of Muqtada al-Sadr, they held off US troops for over 2 days while being pounded by mortar fire and tank shells. In total, 246 coalition troops died compared to the 1076 Juiids including Muqtada al-Sadr. This is now classified as the first battle of WWIII, known as The Battle of Basra. Months afterwards, a very secret agreement is signed by the then unknown leader of the Juiids and the Hamas is Palestine. The Hamas had infiltrated very deep in the Palestine government and placed forged documents repeatedly saying that an attack from Israel was imminent. The government was quick to act and launched a counter offensive without the Israelis even attacking first. The invasion was met with little resistance. Now the agreement between the Hamas and Juidds was that if the Hamas could distract the US for a few months to try and halt the invasion, the Juiids would launch an ethnic cleansing of Jews in Iraq and surrounding countries. But there was a problem. The Palestine government soon learned that the documents had been forged and retreated from Israel after only 10 days. But that was fine. The Juiids finally launched their ultimate offensive. The Juiids set off 21 separate bombs full of Zyklon B in Israeli trains, killing over 250 people (for those who do not know, Zyklon B was the gas used in the gas chambers during the Holocaust). It is unknown why the Juiids would target outside their home land, but it most likely did have something to do with the Hamas.
A wave of anti-Semitism sweeps through the middle-east after the world shows pity for the Israel train attacks and enormous amounts of money are given to its government while any other attack would go unnoticed. A new coalition is formed, consisting of Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon Saudi Arabia and Iran. They are determined to do one thing: eliminate the state of Israel. Sound familiar, it should. On December 15, 2006, this new coalition under the name New Arabic League’s, or Nals, invades Israel from almost every direction. Within 15 days, Israel’s army is grinded down to nothing. Countries are quickly trying to mobilize mass troops and vehicles, but the US is the first to enter the war. They declare war on Nals, and send troops through Jordan to Israel. But the US is having problems it Iraq now more than ever. Iran has invaded Iraq and is penetrating deep into the heart of Iraq. Battles pursue through city streets were dozens of civilians are killed. The mass amount of Iranian tanks and troops quickly overwhelm the US and are welcomed by the Iraqis. The river Tigris separates the US-led occupation (plus Baghdad) and the Iranian occupation. Small battles are held to try and bring back small but strategic areas of land while the US plans a full scale assault. Meanwhile, across the river, Iraqis are celebrating and rejoicing the Iran occupation. Young men quickly take up arms and form the army Ki-Kut, a small militia of 3500 men who will fight side by side with the Iranians. Most of its members are Juiids or men who were first too scared to join the Juiids. The next target for the Iranian army is Mosul, a city on the west bank of Tigris. A bloody firefight lasts over two days after Iranian bombers lay waste to half the city. Eventually, American forces beat back Iran and start a search and rescue procedure to find any survivors after the bombings.
On February 26, a massive explosion rocks a building close to a US HQ and takes the lives of 223 civilians, military personal, and police in Al Kut. It was the largest bombing since the US-led occupation of Iraq began. The same day, another attempt is made to capture Mosul, the bombing was a distraction. A large force of tanks and Ki-Kut soldiers enter the city and take over half of it before US reinforcements push them back to the south area of the city. By midnight, only a small fraction of the city is under he control of Ki-Kut. The total losses of the day were American: 237, Ki-Kut:986, Iran: 84.
But the Ki-Kuts were not about to give up. The last remaining Ki-Kut troops fought to the end after launching round after round or rocket-propelled grenades at American positions.
The HQ of Nals was located in Damascus in Syria. Plans and tactics were organized here and they next move was to free Iraq completely from the Coalition. The Iran Invasion was a diversion, sort of like a taste of the upcoming meal. The Nals chose to start their invasion the day the US started to take back the Iran occupation. Most of the troops and resources would be in the north, while their highly trained and blitzkrieg-like invasion would overwhelm south Iraq. The force was gathered in Saudi Arabia. But the information leaked. Perhaps because of US spy planes or a scout saw the ever-growing invasion force. The US halted the invasion of Iran controlled Iraq and fortified cities along the perimeter of Iraq. A new plan was needed. And the answer came from Egyptian General Hazar. He noticed that supplies were either being flown in from Kuwait or shipped from the Persian Gulf. A blockade was proposed. If the Nals could halt the stream of supplies and troops needed to fight of the Nals, then the Coalition would have to surrender. He figured it would take 6 months for supplies and troop morale to be too low to continue to fight. A fleet of Saudi ships sailed day and night in the Straight of Hormuz. A force of Saudi and Iran tanks and planes captured Kuwait in less than two days after the Kuwait army had no time to mobilize. The US was in a sticky situation. They had over 150 000 troops overseas surrounded by enemy countries and no way the bring them out or bring in reinforcements. The American people were furious. No only had the first opposed this war, now they had this huge fiasco where hundreds of thousands of their best men and women could die without any help from their homeland. An emergency UN meeting was called. Proposed ideas and situations were fired back and forth, and it seemed the only effective, but costly, idea was to go to bring back the old Allies and invade the Nals to bring out the American troops and settle the Arab world for good.
The Allies were divided into two legions. The Pacific Allies consisting of Japan, America, Canada, Mexico, and the largest army in the world China. The Atlantic/Euros Allies was made up by Britain, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and smaller countries in Asia Minor. The stage was set, and WWIII had begun.
July 6th 2007: WWIII officially begins
July 12th 2007: The Allies invade Turkey
Codenamed Operation Axe, the Atlantic/Euros Allies (this point on known as AE Allies) started their invasion into Turkey. The Allies invaded in three spots. The first was through Bulgaria. Six infantry groups and 3 tanks groups blasted into Turkey. The second was a beachhead off the Black sea (cleared before hand of any subs and mines), but was quickly held back because the Turks anticipated an attack from sea after Ally dive bombers and subs destroyed their sea fleets. The third attack point was launched from Greece (allied to the Allies) and attacked a beachhead near the city of Canakkale, close to the Bulgarian-Turkey border. The first and third attackers were to meet up in Bolu on August 26th, but that was never to happen. The first attack strike was in a deadlock in the city of Istanbul. They had been pummeled with artillery shells and mortar rounds.
Well thats all I've got so far, what'd think?
