Did every single person to ever live on this planet have a unique face? Every person that I met in my life had a unique face. They have their own Identity. Since the beginning of human period (~1.5 Mya), did any two people have identical faces? In 1.5 Million years, there might have been a countless number of humans and the volume of heads did no change. So in that particular small volume, the nature could have ran out of patterns for new faces because the total number of spatial arrangements of pieces of skin and bone is limited. My problem is described in a more detail in this blog post : http://leakyneuron.blogspot.in/2011/04/doesn-nature-run-out-of-faces.html

hitler used the same "theory" to persecute untold thousands of innocent lives.

one person on this board even based masturbation on facial expressions and body posture.
yes virginia he could tell if you masturbated by looking at your face.

I guess since facial features are not quantized, there's nothing to run out of. It's just one big happy continuum.
