So I was eating while browsing Sciforums, and noticed TDI had a new avatar. I couldn't immediatly tell what it was. On closer inspection I found that it was a guys head exploding. Yum. I wasn't very hungry afterword, and so my sandwich was set aside, sadly. I'm not complaining, I'm all for grotesque, bloody stuff, but I'm acting on a whim and posting about it because I havn't posted in a while. ;)

I don't find it disturbing at all. It's so unrealistically over-the-top that it doesn't even register as something I should be shocked about.

I see heads explode all the time, because people around me try to think.

It's all a matter of training.

1.Watch blood and gore movies for 10+ years.

2. Decapitate rats for a living.

Sort of inures you to this kind of thing.

I'm not disgusted (I've had all the training I need from the lovely internet...much of it uninvited)...its just that his brains look like pasta. The resemblence to food makes it akward. Its like: I'm eating...and his brains look like what I'm eating

Anyway if everyone starts using it, I'll actualy have to read who wrote what. I generally identify the person with their avatar. Whenever someone changes theres I go through a period of "who the hell...oh".

But when its in a row together like that, it reminds me of fireworks. Its kind of hypnotizing.
