It's a book by Mark Haddon... (and for those of you who are astute, a quote from a Sherlock Holmes book).

Has anyone read it?

Comments?

Personally, I thought it was terrific and it catapulted to the top of my "Favourite Books" list.

I also have to write a review of it, so any help with ideas for that would be appreciated.

I want to read that, it looks very interesting, I browsed through it. I can relate to the main character, because I'm also on the autistic spectrum, his way of thinking seems so natural to me, and the misunderstandings with NT's (neurotypicals), are funny, rather than tragic, as is so often the case.

I relate to the protagonist myself. I've often been told I have Asbhurger's... or a variation that, which runs from my Dad to me...it's exactly the same, but instead of Maths/Physics, we're good with words and language etc. But I (and others who "know" me and have read it) often compare me with Christopher (the protagonist). Oh well. I'm happy in my world. They can stay in theirs, and I'll stay in mine.
