Less "in-touch" (for lack of a better word) people believe that basic survival is all that is necessary. Well I have news for you, super-survival is not a myth. It is not impossible in the west to embrace a lifestyle where survival becomes not merely a necessity, but an art.

The heart is the essential organ of survival, it should be your most treasured possession. The intellect is the last in the line of necessary functions. Intellect is a personal value. Truth should be held in high regard, but is not acheived through intellect, although this attribute can help in matters of exploration and research in finding the truth.

Although truth should be held in highest regard, a lie can be a means of protecting the truth. In such a case, the lie is held above the truth as a priority. Super-survival can only be acheived by embracing truth. Beauty beguiles, it is not a tunnel toward truth. Humility opens the mind to greater wisdom. Humility is the quality of the highest ubermensch, who is a man of complete and utter truth about everything. It results in a non-deluded form of confidence which gives rise to spontaneity.

Imagination is not important at all.

Intellect is an evolutionary tool, but leads not necessarily to mankind's happiness.

Creativity is found in both happiness and depression. But it is better to have it while happy, because then you would be more willing to share it with a crowd.

Being happy is considered the best way to spend one's time. But this quality is not often found. The dream-state of love is not the happiness of which I speak. It is a pure moment of bliss. Bliss is not a feeling or emotion, it is a state of utter awareness and appreciation. There is no emotional networking between oneself and others, a heightened state of awareness is all one can experience. Fear, doubt, or any other performance restricting drug (i.e. emotion) of the natural productive facilities of the brain is routed away.

Performance, pure and simple, is all that is left. That is the concept of super-survival.

The heart as a physical organ is most essential. By treasuring it I mean that one takes special care of it, not that one feel for it, or be emotive about any of it. Even though, semantically, "to treasure" might give one that impression.

I like that, nick. "The concept of super-survival". You named off something that happens quite naturally with people who have strokes, or the hyper sensitives- point being, there are people out there who would fit in to the category of the title to this thread. There were some things that you said that I could talk about all day. Would mention about. But. Alas I fall to the hold of the prevoius poster, asking you to define and elaborate further. Good idea ! *rolls eyes* ;)

Also, it's very relevant to me, since "the concept of supersurvival" ... = ... my life.
