View Full Version : The Bush Administration Crack-Up
hypewaders 04-29-06, 08:02 AM It's becoming inevitable that before 2 years and a graceful transition of power play out, the W. Bush Greatest Nation / Petroleum Empire Administration is going to take a very public shit.
And fall right out of power, even though most Americans are paying scant attention. What if leadership, like the old Kremlin, throw in the towel before the revolution could be mobilized?
Ummm, uh... exactly. Like the Soviets, the bastards running America aground are going to try to disappear into the crowd.
But I'll be watching. Do you read me, up there?
Sock puppet path 04-29-06, 08:35 AM I only hope you are right and the sooner the better.
The Bush Administration is guilty of crimes against humanity. The Congress is far too complicit to ever bring those crimes to the light of day in all their manifest horror. The American people have gone too far down the road of acquiescence to ever draw back - for, like Macbeth, they would have to acknowledge the blood on their own hands. The game has reached a point of no return, and the boys in the White House have only five months to come up with a plan - and it's become clear that the only viable path is towards a fascist police state.
War with Iran is absolutely in their best interests. They need unparalleled mayhem - more domestic terror, gasoline shortages like you wouldn't believe and no foreign street safe for Americans. It is the only way for them to hold onto power.
There are no good options for the citizenry - assassination is out of the question, civil disobedience untenable in an ocean of indifference, and the political process not just broken down but up on blocks and stripped of anything valuable.
Don't focus on Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice. These four horsemen are just opportunistic infections on the body politic - if it wasn't them it would be someone else. The American experiment has gone rotten, and in my opinion the only way forward is through abject collapse. We shouldn't fear it - but welcome it. The only way to reorient people whose compasses have gone awry is with a huge dose of painful reality - we need a decade of everybody being in the same leaking boat, experiencing the reality of the poorest demographic. In some ways, the poor, the homeless, those barely hanging on; they will be best suited to survive the next depression. It will be the soccer moms, the white-collar managers, the overfed and overentitled children who will be in for the biggest shock as the lights go out and they have to walk everywhere. For the poor it will just be more of the same.
Lancing the boil of America will bring relief to a fevered world, too. I, for one, am looking forward to it.
I'm sure I will get plenty of rants back at me from the America-firsters, or those horrified by this vision of agony. All I can say is that I can see it coming, like it or not, and the longer we deny it the more painful it's gonna be when it comes for us.
Singularity 04-29-06, 09:52 AM How did such evil people reach at such heights ?
Obviously there something wrong in the US political system.
One thing is sure, thoes Fat American, they are the culprits, they just sit hogging in the comfort of their houses while the country is ran by few thugs.
Sci-Phenomena 04-29-06, 10:50 AM Yes, there is a way out of this damned system: The people must we-write the constitution, using much of the old standards in the new one. Abolish congress, abolish the senate, abolish the president. We are in the age of technology, and as such every citizen can vote on any and all bills and amendments, its a matter of having the people directly rule, so there would be no leaders, there would be no corruptable bribe taking scumbags to screw everyone over. If the people ruled then they would be forced to take responsibility, and if they can't handle that, then I will enjoy seeing this system fall apart from the inside out.
Its time to take the power back!
All in favor of a true democracy, say : "AYE!"
Singularity 05-06-06, 12:01 AM I hope U r aware that Bush is president not because people voted for him, but because his sister mingled with the voting machine softwares.
Now imagine what happens with your idea.
Sci-Phenomena 05-06-06, 01:23 AM Yes, but the new system of voting would be much different. It would still have physical ballots, kept in check by representatives of all the different politcal "genres." That is to say, a VERY close public eye would be kept on all votes.
You see, even though Bush illegitimately got into office, he still got alot of legitimate votes did he not? And those legitimate votes have gone to waste on a president that lied and schemed his way into office. One corrupt man screws the rest of the good guys over, what must be done is this: A new system of voting which has checks and ballances ALL throughout it, thus insuring accuracy. We would put voting fraud as one of the highest offenses, right up there with treason, any corrupt fool caught tampering with votes, and thus the fate of the nation, could be legitimately put to death. (or perhaps life in prison)
The Devil Inside 05-06-06, 07:30 PM but who will police this new nation?
who will police the police?
in this age of information, it wouldnt take long for another system like the one we have now to be implemented again...only this time it would be the corporations doing it OPENLY.
Singularity 05-06-06, 11:30 PM ...
You see, even though Bush illegitimately got into office, he still got alot of legitimate votes did he not? ...
No.
Theres was no way he would have been in power after 2004
Sci-Phenomena 05-07-06, 03:01 PM Ah yes, lets hope the corperations don't consume us all.
