I really didn't understand the ending of episode 26. Did everyone's memory get erased again? Is it the last episode?

View Full Version : The Big O (Anime - Episode 26) Truenemo1889 11-05-03, 02:08 PM I really didn't understand the ending of episode 26. Did everyone's memory get erased again? Is it the last episode? Truenemo1889 11-08-03, 08:13 AM it seems nobody on this forum wants to reply........... interesting:cool: methylcellulose 11-08-03, 06:07 PM Haha. Perhaps no one knows the answer? I have never heard of the Big O... sargentlard 11-08-03, 06:33 PM I was a fan of the show and it's anime Batman vibe but Cartoon Network took so long bringing out season 2 that i completely lost all interest in the show and pretty much forgot the plotline. I saw a few episodes of season 2 but they just irked and bored me. curioucity 11-09-03, 07:32 AM well methyl, I'm even not that great fan of anime... ElectricFetus 11-10-03, 10:21 PM I have not seen 26 yet (I do not watch it off CN, I download it) Sorry will tell you then. :( I saw a couple of the CN showings but the starting theme music was so bad I COULD NOT STAND IT! It is even worse then the first! My ears would bleed!!! Doctor said I should not watch anymore if I ever want to hear again! Clockwood 11-10-03, 11:01 PM As far as I can tell they weren't even people to begin with. They were the recreated individuals of a bygone day and the whole world was a simulation with some obscure purpose. Basically the reset button was pressed. What the heck is the whole thing about? I haven't the foggiest. Perhaps somebody (don't know who) wanted to find out a little bit more about what makes up human and so set up the elaborate stage. Maybe its for entertainment. Maybe the human race is long dead and its image is only kept alive in that dome replaying the same forty years again and again. If you see it again pay attention to those second wide flashbacks. You see some enlightening and disturbing things. On the stage of life we are not pawns. We are props. The whole series is one big philosophy class. |
