Another one of those sayings that results in argument whenever somebody says it. You never hear people say this when something good happens. It's always after something bad. Well the fact of the matter is that it is anything but life. Truth is everything. Understanding what is real. Pursuit of understanding of the universe, reality, the human body, matter, how things work, the mind, relationships, ethics, forces, etc. Growth. Freedom to pursue understanding and growth. That is life. Freedom to pursue understanding of life is life. The ability to take part in the pursuit of gowth and understanding. The path to enlightenment. Anybody can say that they are learning and gaining experience at their designated job, but it isn't real knowledge. It's utter inanity. Most of the jobs people do and want their oppressors to create for them. It is all idiotic nonsense. Perhpas the money made will allow you to enjoy the freedom of living. No reason to mistake the work you do at a job as really living. It's not. It is not pursuit of growth and understanding. It is wothless inanity that has to be done in order to get money. It is nothing more than a superimposed barrier to life. When somebody says: "That's life", they are usually referring to something that is anything but life.
a spiritual life seems more worthwhile than a middle-class money gobbler's. It's a nice opinion, but those who hold it are no more blessed than those who don't!
