    If you work in eqnarray the integral sign is nice and big, like seen here \(\int f(x) dx\) but if you put it inline with the text, such as in dollar signs $\int f(x) dx$ you get a small integral sign. This also happens if you use the integral sign inside an array inside an eqnarray. How do I tell Latex to do the normal integral sign inside arrays? Its default doesn't look very nice.

    Got it. Try {\displaystyle \int ...}
