dude! burned cd's are cheating. you get 10 albums, not 10 discs packed with as many good songs as you can get on them. the question wasn't, 'what 700 minutes of music would you want on a desert island?'

that said, i have no f'ing clue. mebbe i'll think about it.

I'll cheat, you can go ahead and listen to the same 10 bands over and over and over and over. Assuming that you managed to bring a solar-powered cd player with you. If you didn't, we'll its a moot point. Also its assuming you have some source of food and water, else you're going to die in 3 or 4 days anyhow and even good music isn't going to help.

So burned cds it is for me.

god is irrelevant asked for individual albums not discs that you have put together but that just points to the fact that picking 10 albums is hard in itself and especially when you like so much music and the reality is that if you were stuck on a desert island you would get bored with those ten albums pretty fast.

anyway, my tastes change alot and I usually get rid of albums I don't really listen to anymore, but here is my current top ten out, mostly out of what I have:

4. Dave Matthews Band- double disc acoustic live with tim reynolds (oops I cheated too)

In reality however, these 10 would probably all be classical music because I could probably delve into the classical more deeply and it would hold my interest longer, but this is my "pop" list.
