Inevitable In my shadow I can see the truth of this horrible reality. As long as my shadow is with me I will never claim to be some sortof a God or a leader you will never see. Believing more with every step I take. Believing that my shadow will leave me. Leaving the path behind me forgotten. Leaving the path in front of me mystery. Underneath this dark and burdened sky. I catch a glimpse of someone in front of me. Waiting and wondering what this could be. Has it come to steal my shadow? Leaving me unable to see or is it just me? Winding, Twisting and goind down a spiral of flames. Seeing, thinking, will it ever be the same? Wandering down a path where only one way is visible. Seeing the truth and needing......needing to be there again. I am plagued with an undeniable disease that will never say goodbye. As the witches wheel comes around, spinning like an infinate dream, the figure becomes clearer. This being standing in front of me looks so familiar, so unmistakably me. Haunting and taunting and lieing to me. As I am pushing me away I see the path ahead of me. Dismal, dark and unforgiving. Like a parallel dimension. Shoved beyond, shoved between, and the shoved away. Winding, Twisting and goind down a spiral of flames. Seeing, thinking, will it ever be the same? Wandering down a path where only one way is visible. Seeing the truth and needing......needing to be there again. Suck it out of me. Leave me blind. Leave my mind. Take it. Increan: Scientists do not make good poets, and philosophers rarely do. But I know what I like. It's quite good. What does it, personally, mean to you? And what is this "shadow"? I empathize. I think I know what the poem is about - yet I cannot quite decipher it. Tell me, have you ever felt frightened by yourself?
Xev: The weird thing is I really don't know where most of my peoms or songs come from. I mean of course everyone of them is rooted in me somewhere. I think this one I was afraid of where my life was going and who I would become at the time.
