It is my understanding that the Rand Paul campaign has yet to respond to the allegation. It should be interesting.

Yeah. I admit it's hard to care. Rand Paul is an asshole, anyway, and I'm unsure whether or not this will have any real impact on his candidacy. I mean, seriously, if his supporters aren't bothered by his disagreement with the Civil Rights Act, I highly doubt kidnapping a woman will faze them.

Sounds kind of silly. I'm sure worse has happened. Much worse.
Still, not knowing all the details at this point, I would agree it sounds a little sadistic, or at least unsettling.

As much as I respect his father, some of the stuff Rand has said has certainly not endeared him to me.

On the Civil Rights Act, I guess that's the hardcore libertarian stance. I don't agree with it really. I can understand it to a point, though I would never vote that way. Take it or leave it...

Meanwhile in less important news, the economy continues to go under. Government continues to seek more regulations to an already overregulated nation. As it waits with great anticipation by not raising our taxes, because they will simply allow a tax cut law to expire. See he told you HE wouldn't raise taxes, he would simply allow tax cut laws to sunset.

Meanwhile we continue to laugh and giggle over the youthful college indiscretion of a man who attended a church for 20 years that consistently bashed the very country that young man would one day become president of. Additionally, we continue to get our kicks over the youthful indiscretions of a young man who furiously studied marxism and adhered to it, though that philosophy is totally anathema to the traditional philosophy of freedom in the nation he would one day become president of.

Meanwhile we continue to giggle and shift our feet from one side to the other over the preciously dyed in wool marxism doctrines of taxation and nationalization of business imposed by that prankster of youthful indiscretions, who would one day become president over the very nation that is 180 degrees opposition of those pranks.

Yes, the idiotic, immature, pranksterism of an immature, youthful college student from 20 years ago + is definitely more worthy of revolution.
