Why is it that when you put a CD or tape in your dashboard and after driving for a while and you take the CD or tape it, is warm, or hot? Plus why does the sticker label come off?

On dashboard or in dashboard and by dash board do you mean music player?

On dashboard its probably heat in the form of radiation from the sun hitting the CD tape that heats it up, even on a cloudy day.

In dashboard it could be due to heat off of the electrics or radiator that causes it to heat.

In music player, the CD turns fast and with electrics will heat it up.

Stickers will come off in higher heat as the adhesive wont be affective.

    Hope that helps.

The moisture in sticker adhesive expands in heat, so the bottom of the label actually gets too big for the surface it's stuck to. So it warps, and then peels off.

I've had tapes melt that were sitting in my passenger seat, including some rare Jesus and Mary Chain B-sides

Put it under the seat. Try putting a CD in the microwave, it's cool

Things you should not put in the microwave should be:
    CD's
    Light Bulb
Spoon (there is a spoon, and it's not good in a microwave)
Wet dogs (other than the wet stink, they tend to get a little medium rare)
Babies (Lets just say when you have the munchies this ones a no no)
Underwear (I've heard of people drying their underwear in a microwave)
Plastic toy soldiers / Barbie dolls (They melt well, although the old tin toys are more fun)
egg with shell undamaged (These pop well)
Limited edition collection of VHS/DVD or CD albums (priceless in both content and expression of owner)
