Research assistants at New York Medical College on Tuesday prepared to harvest swine flu virus that had been grown in eggs.

-May 13 (Bloomberg) -- The World Health Organization is investigating a claim by an Australian researcher that the swine flu virus circling the globe may have been created as a result of human error.
Adrian Gibbs, 75, who collaborated on research that led to the development of Roche Holding AG’s Tamiflu drug, said in an interview that he intends to publish a report suggesting the new strain may have accidentally evolved in eggs scientists use to grow viruses and drugmakers use to make vaccines.

-Was the swine flu virus, a combination of three genetic types of viruses, accidentally leaked out of a research laboratory?
This is what cardiologist and editor-inchief of Journal of Science of Healing Outcomes, Dr B M Hegde suspects. For these three genetically unrelated virus genes to co-exist in a single virus seems very unusual in nature, writes Dr Hegde in his article, `Swine Flu Scare’, published in the latest issue of British Medical Journal (BMJ.com).

Could the same labs that are making Tamiflu be responsible for creating the virus in the first place?

    You do the math.
Money talks...that's what you call "job security".
The makers of "Tamiflu" are also filing lawsuits to keep generic versions of the drug made in other countries from being sold in the US.

India's Cipla said its generic version of Roche's Tamiflu has been included in the WHO's list of pre-qualified medicinal products.

    It gets better...
    And "WHO"s watching these guys?
The same ones trying to cover it up?

The "WHO" is rushing to debunk the "swine flu escape from laboratory" claims...while issuing a level 5 alert.

Damn all accusations of "conspiracy theory" and that crap! I think it's highly likely that a financial or political entity could and would create something like that, though it doesn't appear to be turning out as deadly as it could have been, especially when compared with normal flu outbreaks.

I have heard others make similar comments.

    Could be true.

I'm not usually one for conspiracy theories, but it did occur to me that this virus had an unexpected signature.
The collection of elements in this new virus are very unusual.
Two types of Pig, Human, and a bit of Horse.
Assuming it originated in a single pig somewhere, that was one damn unlucky pig.

Viruses can and do leak from Laboratories.
An outbreak of Foot and Mouth was due to bad drains at the Foot and Mouth Laboratories at Pirbright Surrey in 2007.
If this had been covered up instead of being revealed, we would be talking about a conspiracy theory there too.

I also agree that there are times in which stuff happens, like this flu, that could be very well started by a company so that it can sell a vaccine and reap huge profits.

You know what is even scarier than the idea that "swine flu was created in a lab"?
Do a google today on those very words under the "news" section of google search.

http://www.google.com/search?source...enUS320US320&q=swine flu was created in a lab

There are about 7000 hits and not a single news outlet will carry the article past the may 15th "WHO" official denial of the laboratory connection theory.

What is wrong with that picture?

They...("WHO" are they, you might ask?) pun intended, have so much control over the entire world's Internet news outlets that not one single news site dare defy them in their "no evidence found" debunking.

Now....to me, that is more of a potential threat than any flu outbreak could ever be.
To think of what kind of monster that power could create, just watch the movie "Outbreak".

The WHO, the CDC, FEMA....they are all set up for this kind of thing, and if you are paying attention you'll get a small glimpse right here of the control they are able to exercise when the time should come.

We should all know it's only "sensible" that absolute media control has got to be part of their powers to prevent panic during an outbreak and so forth...agreed?

The only thing wrong with all that power in place for our "protection" is...
What happens when the day comes they don't have everyone's best interest in mind?
Maybe that day is already here.

The trouble with conspiracy theories is that it makes people believe that there are no conspiracies at all.
    Whereas.......
Humans being the the duplicitous bastards that they are, they are happening all the time.
A lab origin for this peculiar virus is not beyond the bounds of possibility,
