"Iran has been given 30 days to return to the negotiating table or face isolation, foreign ministers from six major powers have warned."
----------
Hmmmm, so, what does everyone think about this? Does anyone see Iran going back to negotiations (and risk looking like weak pussies?)
If you mean Iran should fore go the rights it has under the NPT treaty then no,Iran has been given those rights under the treaty and no iraninan government will signe that right away and survive. This resolution has no teeth and there is already division amoung the 5 veto powers about the next step.By the way the biggest NPT treaty breaker is USA it is developing new generation of nukes aganst the treaty it has signed, it is giving nuclear tech to India who is not in the treaty.
Why isnt anybody saying anything to USA about this?

Because that's how the world works: everyone likes to have the powerful as their friends.
Then if might is right why shouldnt every other country aquire the nukes,
You see if you use your power irresponsibly then you are giving motive for the rest to follow.
Gotta like this quote from the link in the OP:
The British foreign secretary said "the onus is on Iran to show the international community that its programme is entirely for civil purposes".
Kinda like how the onus was on Iraq to show they had no WMDs?
It's something that cannot be proven, hence pretext to an attack. This is all Bush's deal but unfortunately for him and his cronies he's pinned down in Iraq. So the only thing Iran has to fear is a US military draft. That may well come if the Republicans can further scare Americans enough. Which is of course what all the hubbub about Iran nukes is for. The whole thing has been a self-fulfilling prophesy in action, starting with Bush's "Axis of Evil" speech.
The enrichment facilities will not be taken out, for the simple reason that such doesn't get Bush any closer to the goal, the oil. Only two things will happen, annexation or more run-up talk.
