Duh de duh de duh, selfish bastard.
Am I selfish or are you self-absorbed in requesting others to bend to your whim?
Perhaps I am your liberator, attempting to release you from the shackles of your self-important point of view.

I am not requesting others to bend to my whim. I don't want anyone to bend to my whims.

I just wanted some kindness.

I bet you didn't expect me to say "no." did you?
Wouldn't that qualify as a surprise?

I bet you didn't expect me to say "no." did you?

I was afraid someone would say no.
Am not sure whether I expected it.

I was afraid someone would say no.
So, it really wasn't very clever after all, huh?
Oh well.

Did you know...
If you stir a sweet soda (preferrably from a fountain) in a cup until bubbles stop rising, you can float soda droplets on the surface?
Sometimes multiple ones.
I discovered this as a kid and it still never fails to make me smile.
After stirring it sufficiently, dip the straw in, put your finger over the end of the straw and draw it out (so there is a few drops of soda in the straw).
Next, let one drop out slowly.
If you have the right-sized drop, dropped at the right height and angle, the droplet will "dance" across the surface until it come to rest at the center Sometimes, if the soda isn't the right mixture and the drop isn;t the right size, the droplet will "pop" quickly.
If you get it JUST RIGHT, you can drop 2 or even 3 droplets on the surface, and they will spin and dance around each other.
It has kept me busy at diners for long periods of time, I tell you.
It doesn't usually take much time, adjusting the size, height (generally less than 1/2 inch, but can't be too close either) and angle of the straw to float a droplet.
It could take some practice to make three of them dance around each other and come to rest in a triangle in the center, however.

Are you surprised?

A person who is afraid cannot be surprised.

“... Amaze me! called out Cocteau to a young admirer, one day ...
Through out the years, Rosa-Crvx answer this call,
They make ring today like a watchword.
A gorgeous music, out of norms, some dancers with
Mud-spattered bodies, an explosive technic .
With Rosa-Crvx, the industrial civilization meets the Middle-Ages...
Displaying several disciplines together on stage:
Music, film projections, choreographies and staggering machines,
Rosa†Crvx explore man's unfathomable depthsthrough genuine stage shows ...”

You were afraid someone would say that whole bit about the soda droplets too?

The Golden Path

Take my hand this way we'll go,
Said the man above,
I'll take you to a place of joy,
Where you will find true love,

If you let go, go on your own,
But mistakes you will make,
For many other ways there are,
Which you are sure to take,

When you feel that you are lost,
All you have to do is pray,
And I'll be there once again,
To help you on your way,

I did pray and just as said,
He shined his light from above,
That showed me the way down the golden path,
That led me to your love.
