Hi I’m on this site, and its suppose to be supernatural. You basically ask a question and a spirit answers. My friend told me some creepy stories, about it and when I tried it did not work, so if anyone has better luck please tell me.

Thats a computer generated online oracle.

How is the random generic answers supernatural to you?

Do you believe a "spirit" is manipulating the response?

Why did I waste my time looking at that?

It told me to "Keep trying" about 8 times in a row.

And it told me it was angry when I asked him a question about John and Tom leaving point A doing different speeds.

Well this is the conversation I just had. Stupid really.

My question: Who am I?

Peter answers: Your question lacks of spiritual sense.

My question: Are you dead?

Peter answers: Keep going, I feel comfortable with you.

My question: Why will you not answer me?

Peter answers: Concentrate more; I feel that the spiritual link is getting better.

My question: Am I home alone?

Peter answers: Go to the bathroom. A surprise is waiting for you...

My question: I went to the bathroom, no one was there, why?

Peter answers: I feel you are proving me. That makes me feel indignity.

My question: Stop kidding with me, will you answer me?

Peter answers: The souls are getting closer, keep trusting.

My question: Are you dead?

Peter answers: The theosophical semantic of the question is not valid.

My question: When did you die?

Peter answers: I don't feel a proper environment to answer that.

My question: Who killed you?

Peter answers: I'm mad with you, I will not answer.

My question: Did you die in a sad way?

Peter answers: I'm mad with you, I will not answer.

My question: Do you trust me?

Peter answers: I'm really mad at you.

My question: Do not be mad at me if you are why?
Peter answers: No comment...

It seem to be a bit like a non-directive therapy program written many years ago for a mainframe. It had been designed by a good linguist working with a psychologist.

It had several possbile replies to any sentence which mentioned a relative, resulting in reponses likeI think my mother hates me. My brother always was more successful than I. My best friend killed his father. I could beat my brother at any game we played.

All of the above might get the respones: "How did other relatives react to that?"

My father and I were best friends. My brother and I went to jail for robbing a bank. My sister married a minister.

Response: "Did that bother your mother?"Note that both questions fit the two sets of questions. The computer picked randomly from a list of responses when recognizing a word for a relative.

The computer also recognized certain sentence structures.I am feeling (good, bad, sick, lousy, optimistic, pesimistic, et cetera).

Reply: "How long have you been feeling (good, bad, sick, lousy, optimistic, pesimistic, et cetera)?" Or "Do you think you will continue to feel (good, bad, sick, lousy, optimistic, pesimistic, et cetera)?"I was told that the program actually helped some patients with emotional problems, in cases when the patient resisted talking to the therapist. .
