What has Bill O'Reilly said or done that you thought was extremely stupid, ridiculous, etc?

I don't pay all that much attention to him, so someone else might know better.

I swear to the best of my remembrance (and I certainly remember my feeling of disbelief) I heard him say on his radio show that terrorism and weapons of mass destruction were not the reason that the invasion of Iraq occurred. Honestly, I heard him say this. He was saying something about the president "told us" why the war was neccessary, and explained that neither of the two original excuses used to go to war were actually the real reason for it. As I listened, I kept waiting for him to explain what that reason was. From what I remember, he never did. He kept it a mystery. Does anyone remember him saying that? It was several months ago, on his radio talk show.

What do you think are the stupid things O'Reilly has said? Or done?

Whatever he says, he's getting paid more than you are for whatever it is you are saying.

The free market is not painting you in such a glowing light.

One has to ask why that might be so.

Give us your cogent 9-figure analysis on the matter.

How about when Oreilly said "we never invaded Iraq", it was was declaration of War" :)- http://thinkprogress.org/2008/04/30/oreilly-invade-iraq/

Oreilly also said he couldn't get over the fact that the Black Restaurant he attended was no different then any White Restaurant. He said the they were using forks, and he didn't hear anybody say "Hey, give me some muthafucking Ice T".

And that's the problem today, most "commentators" make more money than doctors that actually help people while those commentators just talk, talk, talk about anything that upsets people. We are a nation of deadbeats talking and being run by a Congress full of greedy humans only looking out for their self interests.:(

Seriously? that's hilarious! what a fuckwit!

hey you know when I went to Mozambique not long after then end of the civil war there, I found out they they had been like shooting each other with guns, not like chucking spears at one another - I couldn't get over that one.

Something about Osama bin Laden and Al Quieda having a him on their personal hit lists, like they really cared about him or something.

bin Laden is O Reilly's best friend, and vice versa. I'm surprised no one has drawn them married to each other.

They share a lot in common...Vicious, hypocritical, homophobic, xenophobic.
That, and one wouldn't have a show if it weren't for the other.

He made some pretty ignorant comments when he interviewed Richard Dawkins too. Something along the lines of "well I don't understand your side of the story, so I'm sticking with my absolute unshakeable faith in the Bible in the meantime".

9-figure analysis?

I very much assume you're being sarcastic!

In case you're NOT being sarcastic.. I have found, that the more money one makes, and the more trivial the thing one does to earn that money (like ranting and blabbering in a pompous, prickish, dickheaded manner on national "fair and balanced" television), the greater the idiocy you're bound to embody.

I think that whatever he said to Andrea Mackris, if true (and it probably was), had to be the dumbest thing he's ever both said AND done.

For a refresher

Well, the one major thing they DON'T share in common, is that one is still alive, and the other has an extremely good chance of having been stone dead for the last couple of years. But that wouldn't stop you know who from releasing another video, God bless him!!!:shake:

Dumb.

Ooo! Pleasant bait for the die-hard conservatives. The dependable zombies!
