I was flying today (with a buddy), and we landed at a small airfield (an uncontrolled airport... you just eyeball the sky to make sure no one else is landing or taking off) in southern Ontario, near Lake Huron. Along came an American pilot and landed there... He: "Hey guys, I'm flying from Dallas to New York... What state is this?" Us: "Um .... you're kinda off course ... this is Ontario..." He: "Sheeeeeeeeiiiiiiiit!!! I didn't know I was in Canada!" Us: "Um, your Navcom ..." He: "I think I switched Lake Ontario for Lake Huron again" Us: "Don't you have a VFR chart?" He: "I never use maps." Um, ok.... Dallas to New York, and he lands at an unknown airfield in an unknown state. LOL. Got any funny stories of stupid people to share?
