Unlike the obviously flawed study that the AP, CNN, NYT et al are flogging as if it’s unvarnished truth, this study wasn’t funded by a billionaire sugar daddy with an ax to grind.

It detected massive bias on the part of the press. It calls the mainstream news media an “anti-democratic institution”.This goes beyond reporting alternate points of view. If someone were relying only on the mainstream media for information, they would have no idea what the president actually says. It was as if the press were reporting on a different speech.

media is never biased, it's just that a new Era comes once in a while and the control of the information is switched from one user to another.

Does the president have any idea what he is saying?
Don't get me wrong, I think Bush was the better choice in the last two elections, but he is still a pretty poor choice in many ways.

Doesn't VIACOM own 90% of the media throughout America and 40% throughout Europe? What's up with that???

Do you know much about VIACOM?

Every one with half a brain has known this for quite some time. The question really is how can this be changed. None of the major media corps will out each other on this issue because they all do the same thing. The internet has been great so far for alternative press but it's really pretty tiny compared to the giant that is traditional media. Perhaps it'll be a generational thing with people relying less and less on old media further into the future.

Ashura,
I hope you are correct!

Yes. He has a trillion things on his mind at any given time--mainly keeping us safe. He takes this evil muslim thing VERY seriously. And he loves this country SO much he is seldom distracted. The problem is he is not a great orator. He is SO MUCH FUN at parties when his speech flows freely. But the media has been relentless mocking him at every opportunity so he is overly-cautious about the way he speaks in public. That makes him appear less relaxed and he often stumbles on words/thoughts.

I like it better when he is more real, more himself. I don't care if he fumbles. I would too if I was speaking in front of the enemy media. I don't like when he reads a scripted message. His sincerity is more comforting.:)

He is one of the best men I have met in my life and I have met all the people I admire most. He's awesome! :yay:

I don't watch much of anything except Christian tv. I sometimes scan tv news to see who's saying what but I don't watch any of them. I believe the sources I trust. I get most of my news from the people making it.

Did you know that 95 percent of the media are registered Democrats? Talk about being biased.

Ha! You do realize that the study in question was conducted by the Center for Public Integrity (http://www.publicintegrity.org/default.aspx) and their conclusions were that not only that there was a "massive bias" by the mainstream press, but that this bias was in favor of disingenuous statements, propaganda, and out-right lies told by Bush administration officials including Bush himself.

Thank you for posting that sandy. Its good to get a reinforcement now and then that my low opinion of the nutjob that calls himself President is warranted.

The CPI is funded by liberal POS George Soros.

The study I referenced was done by VTech.

The second link in the blog article you cited was to a book based on the opinions of one individual, not a "study," which actually is something different. Granted, the opinion on the book appears to be an informed one, but the conclusions (as near as I can tell without actually reading the book) appear to be inline with the CPI study. I'm also unclear as to what a "liberal point of sale" is (I assume that's what POS (http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=&q=define%3Apos&btnG=Google+Search)stands for. Surely it isn't derogatory since that would be a fallacious statement, unsupported by evidence).

Like I said, thanks for reinforcing the bleak opinion I already have of Bush.
