As I am one that is constantly looking for ways to improve my life and clarify my values I do alot of introspection as well as outrospection.
Today I realized how hard it was for me to remain in the present for extended amounts of time.
You know, the present. The all eternal now that is happening as I type this and now as you read this.
Always in the now, stay focused ,.....Now,now,now...........now...now.
As I did this I began to become much more aware of myself,my current situatuion in life,my relationships with people and my own existence seemed to be much more real and fuller.
Funny how this takes effort to do for more than a couple of minutes.
It's basically a fight to remain aware of the ever present for extended amounts of time.
But it pays off in insight.
This is what seperates me from alot of people that say everone and everything is all just a big reaction.
I belive that it this ability toremain focused in the present for extended amounts of time that helps you to skip out of your patterns and make you more real.
I am not sure what the word would be.
Some people call it the Tao
Some the objective world
I know all religions have a word for it.
The eternal now that seems to keep on changing.
Yet eternally is.
Starting to sound a little funny.
Just thought I would share this insight with some of you.
I find it toataly amazing.
I have always wanted to know what I could focus on to recieve the greatest sense of power over myself.
Seems like this is an eternal tap.
I can just feel myself grab my life by the horns when I focus this much on the present.
Pretty cool.
