Does anybody here do street art, stencils, graffiti, stickers, tags of any sort? I do and I was wondering if there is anybody else who is into this sort of thing?

I appreciate it, but I don't do it. A few of my friends are really into it, and can turn out some amazing things.

Oh cool man, I didn't know that there was that much street art going on in Alaska.

There really isn't. My friends mostly do their art indoors on UPS stickers, than tag shit. They make stencils and the like, but most of the actual stuff they put on the street are simplistic tags and the like.

Cool yeah I am more into stencils and drawing than tags and graffiti.

You can make stencils and tag with em, or draw on a UPS sticker, then use the sticker to tag with. Putting them on those green boxes full of electricity work great, or streetlamps. Don't get caught doing it though, as misuse of that UPS shit is federal, not local.

Yeah I usually do wheat pastes on electric boxes.

I find that some of the "graffiti" I've seen really and totally SUCKS! Then again I've seen some that blows me away but most of it is just crap. I really wish that those who think they are "gifted" and want to show the world how talented they are, posting some of their stuff on the web, that way more people will view it and they can acomplish more to gain greater recognition. Like a Graffiti blog or something to that effect.

Street art? Isn't that where some jerk illegally damages, vandalizes someone elses property just for the fun of it? And it costs the owner and/or taxpayer hard-earned money to get rid of it? And this is all for a little "fun" by the "artist"?
