No Christians have threatened the artist, or bombed the building where it is displayed, or attacked the city government. Throughout the Middle East, state-controlled newspapers regularly depict Jews and Israeli leaders in despicable, stereotypical and anti-Semitic caricatures. These cartoons show Jews with hooked noses; Stars of David morphing into swastikas; Palestinian and Arab blood drips from Jewish hands, and Jews are blamed for creating AIDS. Yeah, I agree. Honestly, my respect for the American Muslims have gone up a notch since they have been acting civilized, tolerant, and above all peaceful. If the American Muslims start rioting, they've taken one step forward for their religion and ten steps backwards for their public image. Maybe they're educated enough to understand this? Well, that's what exposure to the ideas of tolerance and freedom of religion will get you. Of course, not everyone feels this way. Witness the islamic protests in Britain, where the placards read "kill those who insult islam" and "get ready for the real massacre". But their spelling was very good. Geoff
