Still Alone As the air cools and the leaves transform into a beautiful pallet of redsm yellows and oranges, a young man sits alone on a bench and is overwhelmed in thought. Thinking about his last year of high school. Wondering if it will be like the years past. If he will ever truly fit in or just drift along never knowing what it feels like to belong. Sitting, thinking, watching the leaves fall one by one. The air is getting colder and still he is alone. Pondering why he is alone. What the reason is. Why is he alone? Wondering, "Is this the year I will have a love, a belonging, a devotion. Someone to love, to belong to, to be devoted to?" A young man longing for closeness and warmpth. And, yet, it grows colder, the leaves still fall, he is still alone. Hoping someone will sit next to him. Hold and comfort him. He has lost love............He has lost all emotion. He has lost the warmpth. Now he just sits not thinking and as the final leaf falls to the ground and the light of days leaves the land, he sits in the dark.............cold............dead.....and........STILL ALONE. S.G.

Looking at your age I suspect it might be. Don't worry !! You hit a memory nerve in me when I read your words and I thought those thoughts a long time ago. Stop wondering. If the thoughts are from awhile ago, then did everything eventually work out? Was there a happy ending? Did you find a girlfriend?? ARE YOU HAPPY, NOW????
Yes they were thoughts, but thats all the were, Once I get started on something I go into a state of mind all about a certain topic or feeling even if I have never felt that way before. It was just something that came out.
