6. Darth Vader could choke the entire Borg empire with one glance.

2. The Federation would have to interrupt whatever it's doing just to attempt to liberate any ship named Slave I.

Okay Spaceman, you can do it. I would just like to tell you that Yoda could kick Q's butt. It's obvious that Yoda has more mental training then Q, and Q can be held back by the other Q because he's not suppose to interfere with humanity. Even though he does.

is Vader really so powerful that he could strangle all of them at once? I think this whole competition depends on how many jedi you've got in your deck, at times there aren't alot of them. so what you've got Vader, Yoda, the Emperor and Luke, all in their prime? very formitable.

Doesnt Windu have to die in the upcoming SW movie? If he can get his ass kicked, then I have no faith in him.

If Vader needed to kill all the borg, he could. He could just control the queens mind and make them blow themselves up. A lot like what Picard did when he was a borg.

The defiant has awesome shields, and has a hull of armor stronger then anything, ever. Its as thick as that fat guy who was stuck in his house for 10 years, and thats pretty thick.

I would think that a ground fight between federation soldiers, and storm troopers, would end badly. The storm troopers have that little problem of marching out into the line of fire... Federation soldiers know how to hide.

the k-wing is a fighter designed to take out capital ships with just the eggs

i have always thought the coolest thing to do would be get a REALLY fast cloked carrier stock it with eggs and a wing of k-wings and spread them around

bad guys atack u jump in unload the k-wings who are small and manuverable who fire the eggs destroy the ships and jump back on the carrier

The defiant has a cloaking device... It could just sneak up on the Death Star and take it out, of course anything could blow up the death star.

MOst likely, a wing of K-wings could saturate shields and armor, and few Federation ships have more than shields as defense, whereas SW ships have armor, shields, and point defense.

I would think that a ground fight between federation soldiers, and storm troopers, would end badly. The storm troopers have that little problem of marching out into the line of fire... Federation soldiers know how to hide. Storm troopers also have walkers and body armor, something they got rid of before TNG.

SW also have experienced fighter pilots and purpose-made warships. Fighters are a new thing in ST, and their ships are generally intended to be multipurpose.

We need to think about Weapons here too. Federation weapons are mainly like One Shot Rifles. Storm Trooper Blasters are pretty fast firing. Plus think about the mass legions (yes, legions!!) of Stormtroopers compared to the pitiful Starfleet Personnel.

Anyway, Star Wars is way cooler than Star Trek so it wins by default :p

Trek can be better then wars... Take DS9 for example, best trek of em all. And kicks SW butt.

CC, you are hilarious. I agree with you as well. The SW races tend to work better together than the ST folks. I do love those transporter thingies though. Driving to work everyday sux!

So ST would win because they wouldn't let it get beyond peace talks. Though if the fecal matter did somehow manage to hit the impeller...

Calm down, let's not just say one univere would win because you think it is better, lets look at it logically:

SW Advantages:

Faster ships (they can travel great distances quickly and have good sub-light speed too)
Fighters (would be hard to destroy with larger ST ships)
Death Star (provided they have one, would pretty much blow the heck out of anything ST has, except maybe species 8472?)
The force (not much, but, still could be desicive in a close battle)


SW Disadvantages:

Smaller ships - can't take a lot of weapons fire (except, of course, the Death Star)
Deflector Sheilds - may not be effective against some ST weapons
I really don't think the empire and the rebels could work together too well (maybe)


ST Advantages:

Q - 'nuff said
Borg - 'nuff said
Wide range of weapon and ship types (almost all SW weapons are blasters!)
Probably would work slightly better together (maybe)
Cloaking technology - (don't know whether SW could do anything against it)


ST Disadvantages:

Don't really have many small ships (360 degree fire (like phasers) would help though)
Q might not be inclined to help (might enjoy entertainment more than saving the universe)


I think it would be a close battle!
It really depends on the circumstances of the interaction and battle between the two universes...but...I'd bet on ST.

Deflector Sheilds - may not be effective against some ST weapons Depends on how they work.
Smaller ships - can't take a lot of weapons fire I believe that they are actually bigger.Cloaking technology - (don't know whether SW could do anything against it) Depends on the tch being used. In SW the only way to detect a cloaked ship is a mass detector.

Also advantages on land:
SW:
walkers, body armor, grenades
ST:
They seem to be more accurate with thier weapons

Disadvantages:
SW: body armor may not be as effective agianst phaser fire as against blaster fire. On the other hand, could be better.
ST: no body armor, guns seem to be slower firing, and they have fewer numbers of ground troops.

Something else to consider is policy on orbital bombardment. Also depends on which of the universes your fighting in. They do have different laws of physics, and an important point would be who would adapt faster and better.
