Oh, DEAR GOD, I never knew this thing existed.

I was randomly browsing Wikipedia today when I stumbled upon it. Youtube actually has a reasonable clip of the show.

Has anybody ever seen this and lived to tell about it?

I've heard of it ans watched ports of it. Not good. Most (star wars) fans put it in the lets never speak of this again row.


still its better than the fan flick that had like 15 minutes of straight up wookie on wookie conversation in Shyriiwook(the wookie language) unsubtitled.

I saw it as a small child, and it haunts me. Pre-web, I once asked some friends what they remembered about Chewbacca's wife and kid, and they thought I was hallucinating.


I don't myself recall the introduction of Boba Fett to the world, but that is one piece that might be interesting to see again.

 

I was just going to start a thread on this too! I just saw it with Rifftrax. What an amazing train wreck of a show. I hope they release it on DVD someday, I hear Lucas has a clean copy.

I saw it when it originally aired. It was shown about 6 months after Star Wars hit the Theaters ( I was 20 at the time), and the interest in anything Star Wars was high. It was a worse mish-mash than "Cop Rock" was.

 

It exists. I will never be the same. I sometimes imagine the ways that my life would have turned out, had I never seen it, when I can stop the screaming.

 

Ha! Funny.

I've never actually seen the whole thing. It was barely tolerable just to sit through the ten-or-so minutes I watched on Youtube. But. . . yeah. Pretty bad shit.

I watched Robot Chicken Star Wars and Family Guy Star Wars ( they are pretty funny ), is it like those?

 

Robot Chicken and Family Guy are both intentionally stupid with a lot of purposefully written humor included. The Star Wars Christmas Special was just disastrous.

No. From what i've heard it is the worst Star Wars related thing ever. I don't think I want to watch.

Family Guy's was friggin hilarious. Although I haven't seen the new one.

Robot Chicken's was pretty good too.

Actually, there's another one around. There was a shit cartoon - and by that, I mean that the cartoon was made of actual shit - and also a live show about some kind of an attack on the Ewoks on Endor.

The attack failed, unfortunately. But I hear they all died of Lyme disease anyway, so everything turned out for the best.

 

I loved the Ewok show, it was actually pretty good.
