I made a page about the moon... an i want to know if it wooud be considered "spam" if i post a link to it.???
As a member with 1600 posts, I don't think we'll consider you a spammer, cluelusshusbund. Go ahead and post your link (probably in a new thread in the appropriate forum).
O oK... i thout i had seen som complant about sombody postin a link to ther site as bein spam... or mayb i didnt???... but yes i want to post my page link (about the moon) in a thred about the moon.!!! Thanks
Minor notes Well, it's a more complicated matter than simply posting the link. To the one, some of us have blogs, and sometimes we link to them. But neither do we wish to be seen as trolling for hits. (I draw no revenue from any of the three blogs I write or contribute to.) We had a recent case, though, where a member linked to another website where he was hawking a pseudoscientific cause and, it seems, taking swings at someone at Sciforums. We considered that spam for a few reasons that were largely attached to post content. (I still have to finish dealing with that one, incidentally ....) At any rate, we want our members to be able to share stuff they're doing outside this community with us. The difference is perceptions of good faith, commercial advertising, and factors like that. Beyond that, I'll simply defer to James.
Yes my page is for informational purposes only an i will fix it if sombody finds somptin rong wit it.!!! Below is whare i posted it.!!! http://www.sciforums.com/showpost.php?p=2395434&postcount=287
