So you win the bigtime lottery and you tell the boss what?

I got to thinking about what some members might tell there boss through other threads, but I'm thinking OK, if you won, lets say really big in the millions, how and what one liner would you tell the boss, which could be your real work boss or your partner?

Me, I'd probably call him in and tell him I bought the company or that I resign in order to gain some self respect!

I'd just say that I bought up all the stocks of the company and now he/she is working for me!

I would probably enjoy some things I would never usually get to do in life, but when it was all done, it would seem like I'd need to put my hand to something again...maybe start a humanitarian effort or a youth center or something.

Well, geez, I'd probably beg him to keep me on in my present position so I could give all that money to the poor and hungry children of the world.

I'd just e-mail him a picture of my butt.

 

I would tell myself to go fuck myself and storm out of my office. use my personal phone to call my work phone and say "I quit" then reply on the other "no you cant quit because your fired".

I'd probably just mention that I'll be working only up until a suitable replacement is found. I wouldn't want my colleagues to get overloaded.

 

Well...if my boss didn't get fired this morning...I would have taken a full half hour to tell him to kiss my lilly white ass.

Then I would be the first person in history to die from a weed overdose.

Since I am the boss, I wouldn't work another day!! I would share some money with my family and everyone else could go to hell....

 

It would take far more than millions of dollars to buy my company. I would probably still work, too much free time and money would be bad for my health. Maybe I would take more vacations.

 

If i did work in would call and tell them or have someone else tell them that i quit.

 

Since I work at a nonprofit that's treated me extremely well, I'd probably present my boss with a nice big donation. I'd also stay on till they've found a replacement.

 

send him a text saying "kthxbye" and never show up again.

 

I think I'd have to give notice so my co-workers wouldn't be overwhelmed, but knowing them they'd tell me I was crazy and get the hell outta there.

I'd take it easy and either take college classes of stuff I like or do a lot of charity work.

 

Forget that..Id just buy them some temps.

As for having nothing to do at home..thats what entourages and hookers are for.
