So whats better Rock or Pop?

So what's better people rock, metal, pop or something different?
Please tell me cause im dying to know, brolly and thor do not answer this i just want to ask other people.
If you could tell me what you prefer and what bands you like I can get back to you.

I like it all. Any type of music is good with me. My favourite band right now is System Of A Down, perhaps you've heard of them? I also enjoy Vangelis, David Arkenstone, Jimmy Eat World, David Usher, and Tomaso Albinoni.

metal is underground.

Classic Rock tends to hold most of the brilliant music of our era, in my opinion. And, among musicians, it holds most of the greatest compositions. The only decent rock in the last while is some punk (most of it is just repetitive and braindead) and hard rock (which is now just called modern rock; sadly the hard rock aspect of modern rock also has to be grouped with such pop-musicians as Sum41). I'd say there's only really one popular band today who's real rock and roll (not hard rock, metal, pop-rock or anything else); Weezer. Quality band.


It all comes down to your taste in music. If you have any taste, you won't like pop or pop-rock.

I think 70s-80s metal is the best. Bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, Children of Bodom, Scorpions, Cacophony, Van Halen definitely rock.

I hate rap metal and most of the new metal / rock bands except Creed. These guys still have that 80s charm and they're pretty good musicians. Muse are also good. That's pretty much it...

 

Dude!!! JEW rock!!!1 They are so the bestest of all things ever. I'm mainly into pop, though having said that the songs on my comp that I usually listen to include All Saints, Sugababes (2nd bestest evar) Fleetwood Mac, No Doubt, Sheryl Crow (sometimes) Dido, and Dandy Warhols. Oh, and Jimmy Eat World.
