Hi All

I have made a small video and would like to take a snap shoot of one of the frames. Anyone know how I can do this?

Cheers

There are players out there that have a snapshot function.
If you're using Linux, then Totem, for example, does this.
I have no more memory of Windows media players.

For PC I use PowerDVD (I'm not sure if it's available in the trial) or Video Lan Player (which is free and plays pretty much any video file on earth). Both have the 'capture' function and I use it on a regular basis. Just copy it into Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro (or if you're odd, Paint).

PC is a personal computer and various OSes can be run on it, lately OSX too

I remembered that BS Player was good: http://www.bsplayer.org

depends on what kind of operating system you are using. printscreen button will do just fine, but it will go to the memory-bank which is not virtual secure.

I find the Print Screen button to be pretty useless in this kind of situation. It doesn't capture the still at all. If I paste it in Photoshop, I can see the still but move the canvas and the still doesn't move with it...it's as if it's stuck behind it. And saving the still without moving it doesn't work either, just saves a black canvas. Fantastic.
