After smoking earlier, my stomach was hurting, and my lips turned a bright red/violet(more violet than red) colour. Anyway, I looked at the bag, and I found what seemed to be pocket lint from blue jeans on a couple of buds. So, I threw the rest of it away, but I won't have any serious injury(such as death, etc) from this, will I?

If you were that sick and your lips changed color, you were smoking something more than pocket lint. Pull it out of the trash right now. If you don't feel better very soon the hospital lab will have to analyze it when you are taken to the E.R. They will need that in order to know how to treat you. We can't possibly tell you what the effects will be since we have no idea what it is, except that it's not pocket lint. People have been smoking pocket lint for forty years. The effects you have so far are pretty serious. But there's a good chance you'll be all right if you get medical attention.
Put away the paraquat before it puts you away. You got to be there when your baby's old enough to relate. Peace.
