A man with a "deep, idiosyncratic hatred of authority” has been jailed for six years, after being caught carrying an axe in a crowd waiting for the Queen.

Daniel Bleazard, 34, told police officers that he was waiting to take a photograph, as he joined the public crowds during a Royal visit to Huddersfield last May.

Harsh?

when a man had decided on their act, they must act. Diana was removed without traces...
Use of an axe? If he came, than do the deed...or not do it, at all

Hash?
Imagin someone going up to the president of the US with an axe?
He would have been SHOT

Course if he was here he probably would have got to shake the PM's hand but security isnt tight in Australia

dragon there is a reason that the politions are so aprochable in Australia. We dont have a history of killing them. You should have seen the last election campain, we had Howard and Rudd out shaking hands EVERYWHERE (it was hard to avoid tripping over politions). They were even at the shoping center down the road from here. If i had been home i probably would have gone to see Rudd. The only reason election campaines are secretive here is to avoid photos with protesters in them not because they fear for there lives.

why would you bother?

Blow one up and there are 50 more in parliment who are waiting to take over (and then there is the oposition as well). Killing Howard wouldnt have fixed anything, it would have just let Tony abbott get his grubby mits on the county

Oh and MOD HAT: Advocating vilonce against ANYONE is a breach of the terms of service and can result in you being banned

Asguard...how can you say such thing? It is like a human's life is worthless...I see that Australia has so much peace that no one is really afraid for their lives. So that is good.

put it this way, you are WAY more likly to be killed in an MVA than you are to be murdered here. Well unless your involved in organised crime in Melbourne anyway
