My question is how do we manipulate those energies? The whole point is to flush out the negative energies and revive the positive energies. Isn't this just the nervous system? Does it depend on what we eat, our posture, our beliefs, etc.?

Actually there is scientific eveidence that meditation as well as a healthy diet and excercise does help keep your energies at peak levels. By just doing these things keeps ourselves in the best positive state of being that we can achieve.

I'm talking about the actual manipulation of the flow of energies in your body, not merely "keeping it up" as you would in exercise. It is nothing of perception or even cognition, it is becoming a hyperaware (aware of the interrelated flow or circulation, as opposed to osmosis, between internal energies and external energies) state of mind where every troublesome flow of energy in the body can be "picked up" by the mind and directed by the subconscious then through the appropriate areas of the skin to release "suppressed positivities".

Sorry I misworded the source. We don't manipulate, we exchange energies with everything.

Manipulation of our "internal" energies outward is expressed in the way we talk, walk and carry on with our daily lives. We cannot , as yet, push these energies out of our skins that I am aware of or that has been SCIENTIFICALLY proven. True there are those who BELIEVE they can do many things but as yet those abilities have NOT been proven by any SCIENTIFIC processes. If they have been proven please enlighten as to a link where I can see these FACTS.:)
