Hey, anybody play The Sims? (House Party or Livin Large)

It just so happens that I started replaying The Sims (Livin Large/Livin it up).

I've been working on actually playing fairly without cheating.

So far I have a few families and houses, and I've managed to work out how to keep people getting better at their jobs. The killer though is when you get to a higher job that needs 9 friends and you only have 3 families adding up to 5 people, then you haveto start multitasking the families to get them to live together so you can continue increasing the family you were working on.

Of course you could cheat a little, buy a chemical set and keep using it until you get a red potion to invert your persons traits. It is a kind of method to cheat though, and you guy/girl has to have 0 neatness, etc.

Perhaps I might put together a website for them if I workout that part lol..

The Sims take too much of my time. I better play starcraft.

Awwww....Playing fairly? :( :) Wouldn't you much prefer doing experiments? I've done about 3 experiments so far (yes, I'm an experiment freak, lol), and it's really cool!

1st experiment: Single Sim child, living alone in a house that I had designed according to my tastes, like something I'd like to live in.
Result: Sent to military school for poor grades and bad attitude. :D

2nd experiment: Family of 6; 4 adults and 2 children. Gave all adults jobs, then just pressed the super fastforward button, sat back and relaxed.
Haven't finished it though, but the house is chock-full of garbage, heh heh!

3rd experiment: Single Sim male, living in a house where the toilet is in the centre of the house, the interior is more of a pool, the bed is outside, and everything is horribly mistmatched, lol! :D

I plan to do way more experimentation, like trapping a Sim on all four sides with a toilet, a fridge, a bed, and a bookcase, or building a house entirely made of a floor. It's gonna be fun!

By the way, how do you cheat? And can a Sim die? Not that I've tried yet, but if there is the option.... *evil maniacal laughter* :D Also, I had been perusing the Sim files lately, and I found soundbites for strippers! I didn't know Sims could host a stripper! :eek:

Yeah, I agree about the Sims taking too long. :) But time just flies when you play like me! muahahaha! :D

Sim Suicide
========

Get yourself a Gas cooker, and an under qualified cook of a sim, don't bother with smoke alarms. Let him make a meal.
If your lucky he will start a fire, and you can attempt to get him to put it out.

Sometimes he will... sometimes he gets barbequed and you end up with a Sim urn. (that can't be deleted)

If he wasn't the only one in the house, then you just might get a "haunting" experience.

Alien Abduction
===========

I haven't seen this one myself, but if your Sim keeps looking at stars through a telescope, oneday they might get abducted.

Experimentation
--------------------
As for experimentation, thats what my cheating was for. I had three guys in one pad with this swimmming pool, and 6 girls in another.

You can guess the parties ;)

Oh, another one was I accidentally started a lesbian love affair, but didn't get the point of a preposal.

I used to play the Sims alot but got bored of it. I play RTCW now. Anyways, one thing you can do is build a room with 4 walls with someone inside of it. Then watch him soil himself, starve, and other fun things when your trapped in a room :D
