  1. To Sciforms Website Readers:

Sierpins fractal uses quations to plot pixel locations on screen.
The equations used are chosen randomly. Triangular structures still appear. See my web page for Sierpins Fractal at:

    http://www.spots.ab.ca/~belfroy/sierpinstext.html .

  3. The Sierpins Fractal Java program required Netscape 6 or newer version to run. There is free 3 hour download of Netscape 7.1 at:
    http://ftp.netscape.com/pub/ .

There are also free programming langauges under "prolog" and "Ada"
    Netscape Search.

    Do you mean Sierpinski?

  8. To Sciforums.com Readers:

Just got my email working again.
The name Sierpins for the fractal was found in the Texas
Instruments calculator TI 83 Plus manual. I first saw the Sierpins
fractal on a television show. I think the show was "Nova", and I
forgot the name of the inventor. Sierpins may be short for
Sierpinsky. If five equations were used instead of three, the fractal
becomes a little more random as shown in:
    http://www.spots.ab.ca/~belfroy/sierpinstext.html .

    Leonard Belfroy.
