i have spent the day reading law material and for the sake of it i was looking down a list of the speach's Justice Kirby of the high court of Australia had made. I came across this speach and i have to say taking his background into acount i found it facinating. For those who dont know Justice Kirby is gay, further more the former libral goverment atempted to smear him by aleging (under parlimentry privlage no less) that he was using his com-car to pick up male prostitutes. Now these alegations were compleatly false and a compleate abuse of the procidures of the parliment and an atack on one of the 7 highest judicial officers in the land. I have a HUGE amount of respect for Justice Kirby and a great sadness for all the times he has had to reject legal cases which would improve his own life and that of his partners. To do that and not go homicidle at the parliment shows a huge dept of caricture which few people could ever aspire to.
