Source Sometimes I just love research. Beautiful women can create chaos in a man. And what is more this effect is dose-dependent on testosterone levels! And a nice method to test your own testosteron levels: My ring finger is quite shorter than my index finger. I have low testosterone levels apparently. And interestingly: Women are rock solid in their decision making. So, what does this all mean? According to this article: Can other phenomena be explained by this finding? Why do some men pay so much for high class prostitutes? Is their decision making influenced by beauty? Could this be a valid strategy to undermine the decision making potential of competitors? To make them lose their edge? Why shouldn't women be affected by the sight of a beautiful man? Don't they want they reproduce with 'good' genes? Am I a real man with a shorter ring finger than index finger?
That explains why I fell for the old, "I'm really in love with your car and I'd love to buy it but I'm just a student and I can only afford beans...call me on 1234 woman's name" ruse. I called her, she came round and I sold it to her for a bag of beans (or as good as). Later, I found out that she and her boyfriend were working a scam to buy good cars on the cheap by appealing to soft natured guys with long ring fingers like me. The following week, she pinned the same note on another car I had parked in the street.
My ring finger is shorter than my middle finger. Good looking women make me stupid anyway. (Which is really scary when one understands I'm 56 years old, have three children and have passed on all the genes I ever need to pass on.) But the 'sexual cues' causing confusion thing is very real. I once knew a woman with red hair and green eyes. I never knew when to stop or go.
Haha.. my ring finger is longer. I guess that makes me a manly man. Another way of telling testosterone levels is by voice.
My ring finger is longer than the index finger. I guess I have the testosterone. BTW- I wonder if there is a way to 'patch the problem'? Is there an inhibitor that could be used to eliminate the "sex cue induced stupidity"? Moreover, if normal social mechanics depend on it, I wonder what kind of effect it would have when it was taken away?
Hmm, I have always considered myself to be low in testosterone because I went through puberty quite late compared to other people class, and never really have had much of a sex drive... Yet my ring finger is much longer than my index finger. I am also about 6'4, maybe that has something to do with the finger lengths.
Remember, 95% of men are "gay". A "mans" decision making skills are poor to begin with, while the woman, has her decison making skills "by birth"
No existabrent I never said 95% of men are gay. By distorting what I say you cannot prove your point.
I think this research pretty much proves everything I have been saying about science and its distortion of human sexuality.
Back to the original topic...it's fine to lose your decisiveness when it comes to a beautiful woman. However, certain flares may go up that you can easily spot and should be quickly acted upon. If the words "rent money" or "phone bill" come up soon after the relationship starts, you need to revert to Mr. Hyde--mode asap and kick her to the curb. If the conversation heads toward any form of talk about money, hyde--mode should be initiated. If the beautiful woman starts out asking you to help her move all her furniture from her old house to the new one, hyde-mode. Etc.
My index finger and ring finger are exactly the same length. Pretty girls can't hurt me.Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Actually, I guess it suggests that they only hurt me "a little". Whatever, I still consider myself a winner. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Oh, I forgot, my ring finger is longer than my index finger. Big surprise. Both are long and thick though. LOL.
Spuriousmonkey, I don't think you're as stupid or ignorant as you're claiming to be. You know quite well what I mean when I say existabrent has distorted what I'm saying. Sexual need for men is not the same as 'gay'. And I have presented my case quite well in my threads. I'm still waiting for someone to counter my arguments --- although I don't think that is possible.
These 'studies' create an impression that testosterone or rather a high dose of testosterone (and hence masculinity) is a responsible for a sexual desire for women --- and not just any sexual desire. They wouldn't want sexual desire for men to share that 'honour'.
The ring finger vs. index finger length varies depending on whether you hold out your hand straight or put it flat on a table. When I hold it out, my ring finger is slightly shorter than my index finger. When I put it on a table, it becomes visibly longer. Well, I am led to the conclusion that the table test is more accurate. Therefore, I have dick-tits.
These studies are not totally wrong, but the problem is that they just present one part of the whole truth. The harm is done more by suppressing the other parts --- which give a more complete picture.
Well my ring fingers are longer than my index fingers but I dont find my decision making skills being thrown in to disarray I have one thought, aproach.
