I was always curious on the idea of UFOs hiding in thunderstorms. I mean really if you think about it, they're huge enough for a mothership to hide in. Last October there was a freak thunderstorm here in Colorado. I had a major headache all day long previous to it. It's almost as if i sensed the huge storm approaching all day long. I noticed when my dad came home he told me there was a big thunderstorm heading north. Whenever I stopped to look at the storm, the pain and the headache went away. Whenever I didnt look at it, the pain returned. Almost as if it were telling me to follow it.

    Anyone else experience this?

    interesting

-not a new theory (Close Encounters of the Third Kind) but not one mulled often too often. Maybe "they" don't want us to know.

    severe weather

First off i would like to say that many people get headaches at the approach of thunderstorms, myself included. But i always thought this was due to some peoples sensitivity to changing air pressure. I live just outside Swansea in South Wales,U.K. Part of an area now refered to as the Welsh Triangle (check out the books ) an area infamous for the mass of ufo sightings in mid 70's and , still continuing to this day.Anyway<back to the point of my reply--I was travelling late at night through Haverford West it was a very, very clear night and because there is no major motorway the journey took me 4 hrs to complete ,along a very lonely road . anyway, for the whole of the journey my van was followed by the most evil looking ,thick black cloud that we had ever seen. It appeared to be no more than a few hundred metres above the ground ,about the size of a football pitch ,and always remaining 100 metres on our right hand side. All the way home i experienced a headache/thick head and a constant feeling of being watched or called .It eventually dissapeared when we reached home ,but i felt a terrible unease in myself for a few days after . Today < 15 years later , The memory still scares me.

No I haven't seen the NASA films of UFOs in the clouds in africa. Where are they located. And is this more of a common thing that I expected?

Have you ever had a twitching muscle that stopped twitching when you stopped to look at it?

Your conscious/subconcious attention is causing the phenomena which you have experienced.

For example, in years past, I used to smoke marijuana. As a result of the focusing ability that comes with marijuana highs, I became able to think of any particular muscle group in my body and cause the resultant muscle twitching. I also managed to learn how to move my ears, flare my nose, and move my two eyes in independent directions!!!!! (A scary idea, I know)! I also managed to control my heart rate.

The point is that your body will react in ways that you are not normallly aware of.

That when you stopped looking at the cloud, your headache stopped, is not at all surprising. I have ulcers (bad), however when I am not thinking about it, I normally do not have as much pain. In other words, your subconscious mind has developed a preconceived idea of "pain", but forgets when your conscious mind goes about other tasks.

Regarding headaches & clouds, this is even more likely. Apprehension & stress, that you simply are not aware of, is causing the nerves in your head to become very active (stressed). This stress & tension results in the headaches, which you experience.

My advice is to become part of political action group to legalize the personal production & use of marijuana!

PS. If you get a bad case of hiccups some time in the future, then apply pressure on your wrist, by squeezing with the other hand (accu-pressure). Like accu-puncture, accu-pressure causes certain nerve interferences & conductions which affects other areas in the body, such as the GI tract.
